S4 - E3: "Distract" the walkers for James

I literally can't do this part without killing at least one. Is it possible or am I just getting myself frustrated for no reason?

Comments

  • You're frustrating yourself. I did it. Just run around a bit and make sure they're not all cluttered together before you attack them. That part takes some minor patience.

  • It is possible. However, I had to repeat the section like 3-4 times to complete it.

The trouble is I can't see where they are when I'm running and once I do start running, I end up cornered as it leaves you so little space to move around in.

  • Anyway, thanks for the advice.

  • I did it no problem, it's sorta easy if you keep your distance and only go in close on them when you have to

  • I just walked around in a circle slowly stunning them. It’s easy enough if you separate them all

  • I figured it out. Go right instead of left. When I started out going left I kept getting cornered by them.

  • I did it the first time. You just have to be sure that two of them aren't close to each other. The more harder thing was this hiding when you were attacking Delta camp. I had to do this like 4 times.

Man, and there's an Achievement for getting through their on your first try. I've done two playthrough's and still haven't done it right.

  • I found these parts with the walker fights to never really be that well done, probably because the people making them haven't actually made a real "game" before so the game design is pretty bad.

Trying not to kill the walkers is mostly hard and requires trial and error because theres so many invisible walls where it looks like you should be able to walk.

  • It's super easy and i actually did it first try,u just suck

  • I had a bigger struggle using the walkers as gun bait to be honest. died 4-5 times easily.

  • Never had an issue with invisible walls.

  • Did it first time. Not boasting or anything, I mean I died in some stupid ways during the attack on the Delta...

  • 93% Spared the Walkers
    3% killed some
    3% killed all
Do the math and tell me why that's weird.

  • It's possible but kinda hard. Had to replay it a few times

  • Yeah I don't really trust these stats. Hopefully after a week they fix up and we see the complete results.

It took me multiple tries, I was getting frustrated. I refused to kill one. I assumed you get an achievement. I don't remember if I did. But I also wanted to be nice to James so he'd come through later. Doesn't seem like many decisions alter the story this time around though but I was worried about a "You killed my zombie homie Ralph, so now imma let you die bitch" type of thing.

As for doing it, wait a while before stunning the first, then instantly stun the second, run away from them 2 then stun the 2 that come after wards, run back stun the other 2 and rinse and repeat. Gotta survive like 20 seconds.

  • If you told me 5 years ago that somebody would be saying 'GIT GUD!!!' on the topic of a telltale game. I would of asked them if they were clinically insane.

  • I don’t think it will have any consequence as a decision anyway. James is now determinant and not even sure what the point of that choice was to kill or not kill the walkers

  • Well, he wasn’t stabbed in the head so at least he will get a chance to test his walker theory first hand.
