This is the first AAA title whose leaks turn out to be fake. I did NOT expect Raccoon City to be back. And playing as Grace Ashcroft who I think is related to that Outbreak character.
Soooo, I'm not dead.
But I've been working on some special Telltale "projects". I bet I'll be able to make these before TWAU2 is even announced to still be alive.
You shut down... on a Saturday morning. And I had you placed here, on our forums. And I had that Expanse game, that you liked, burred with you. You always said, shutting down was a part of a game company's life. I sure wish it wasn't. Lil AdHoc, their doing just fine. About to release their own game soon. I'm looking forward to it, everyday. Showing me their new demo. It's really good... And its so good, Telltale. You'd be so proud of them. I am. I know you guys... parted ways... and they said I can't know why... So I won't ask you. Telltale. I don't know if you was right, or was it AdHoc Studio, I don't know if we each have a destiny? Or if... you just made games accidental like on a breeze? But I think, maybe its both? Maybe both is happening at the same time... I miss you Telltale. If there's anything you need, I won't be far away.
A Plague Tale spin off game starring Sophia from Requiem was unveiled at the Xbox event! (Though it actually did get leaked accidentally by the devs a couple days ago.)
Looks like the game will be focusing on a different supernatural entity and not from the first two games. I wonder if the game's supposed to take place before or after the original games.

Just went back to The Expanse TTG to sweep the rest of the trophies I didn't get the first time.
(I did almost everything right the first time except Not getting all Data Logs of Ep4, and Not having Maya Live )
With all episodes installed, turns out the game auto starts the next episode after the credits of the previous one ends.
(This makes Episode 2's intro even more jarring since there's a bit of a time skip with them being chased incessantly for many hours/days we just skim over)
In terms of net negatives, man, New Telltale needs to have games focus more on dialogue choices. The little stuff, while usually not important in the slightest, keeps people engaged and strengthens the "you make your own story" shtick. The game practically plays itself most of the time! Long cutscenes with little input, and when you do you get no timer and only two very distinct dialogue choices.
I mostly managed to get through this entire thing while doing chores today.
Just using my Steam Deck as a remote play device for the PS5.
Good background noise, little engagement game-wise
I will 100% give Telltale/Deck Nine kudos for many accessibility settings like extended timers, warnings, and confirmation settings for choices. Plus colourblind settings for those who need too.
It does say in the description that it takes place 15 years before APT Requiem. Plus, Sophia does look younger.
This is easily in my Top 3 "Fuck GTA 6" Games of 2026, along with Resident Evil 9 and Pragmata.
HOLY SHIT SCOTT PILGRIM 2????! From the original author?? In some new linear story beat-em-up??! YEAHHHH
(also damn I never finished the original Ubisoft one, it got too tough at times, very arcadey homage)
This is just a random thought, but when was the last time the "small talk" mentioned in the OP actually happened? It's been years since I saw a truly elevator-level conversation in here.
Not complaining, just wondering. Forums aren't much of small talk anymore in any case.
With all the amazing video game reveals in the past week, The Wolf Among Us 2 to me is dead in the water. Telltale skipped Summer Game Fest as well and I just no longer care since I outgrew their game design in the end.

I thought this place was not going to return. I really thought that was it. Just to log back in and see the guy asking for the sam and max dlc somehow didn't miss a single day WHAT
Plot twist: The guy is actually part of the Telltale staff and through the thread he was giving us hints that they're actually working on a Sam and Max DLC instead of TWAU 2.

I've been on a cheesy 90s movie kick: Air Force One, Con Air, Judgement Night, Thunderheart, Last Action Hero, So I Married An Axe Murderer, Enemy of the State, and The Rock.
I'm now watching Demolition Man.When they got to the part where they went to the restaurant I was surprised that they went to Pizza Hut instead of Taco Bell. I'm used to watching the US version, and apparently Amazon Prime sells the international version.
It's interesting to see the anachronistic things in its 2032 like 4:3 televisions and laserdiscs. At least they got the lack of Radio Shacks right.
Since Telltale refuses to communicate and give us TWAU2 updates, I went ahead and reviewed The Walking Dead Season 1 on my Youtube Channel. It's not a simple review, mind you. I put a lot of effort on research and editing.
One of my greatest triumphs (a few of the oldies might remember it) was using the edit function to copy an actual link to a Job Stauffer post for like Episode 2 of Tales From the Boderlands and be a rickroll during the long wait for that episode. I fooled a ton of people with it.
"That's right, here at the game awards we like to keep the surprises coming. You may even say... We have surprises... among us... This next announcement has been a long time coming. In fact, after years of development, I am proud to say that THIS GAME will be downloadable right after the show! I guess fairytale endings, really can come true... Take a look."
Trailer starts
"...I'll see you around... Wolf."
TELLTALE GAMES PRESENTS
Bigby answers a ringing, very modern day phone, and reveals his new buzzcut and ultra generic tattoo sleeve
Bandai has released a teaser for a stop motion animated Little Nightmares project! They announced a tv series fuckin' ages ago to be directed by Henry Selick but I doubt this is the same thing/the tv show was canned. Either way I'm very happy!
So, apparently, book 3 is out digitally than expected and here are spoilers for those who still give a shit:
Clem's new girlfriend Ricca gets a random headache and dies, just like that. So, what the hell was the point of dedicating two books to this relationship if she dies just like that?
Clem ultimately ends up staying in Greenland with her new buddies and doesn't come back to the school.
Neither of the past characters like AJ are mentioned at all but Clem apparently names her prosthetic leg after Rosie the dog which is like...what the fuck?
So, congrats to Skybound and the author for taking a huge dump on the fans and giving Clementine a new ending that no one wanted, which is pretty much exactly like how the final season ended, just in a more mediocre fashion and completely invalidating majority of Clem's character arc right after season 2.
Bottom line, ignore this whole book series that finally ended, Clem's story ended with season 4, the end.
So that idiot Tillie basically pulled a Rise of Skywalker with her final book? It just makes me question: whose side was she on?
Whateves, let this IP die already. Unless Skybound makes a Survival Horror game like Resident Evil, there is nothing else for The Walking Dead to do these days.

hello folks! here's some news regarding twau 2, well its not "new", but its certainly something everyone missed: telltale's main programmer held a conference at an university about the ttrenderer npr pipeline they created in specific for twau 2 around mid of november 2024 https://youtube.com/watch?v=VoUJB5Cf31A
it contains several things:
ue5 port for the npr pipeline (graphics) took 1 month
we have an updated key art (Faye's design/hairstyle changed)
we have a new screenshot
we also got to see behind the scenes screens of public screens including an alternative variant of Bigby's pool scene (graphics downgrade? lol)
some telltale tool insights
you can turn over the camera in freewalk scenes (confirming that the game will have 3rd person - timestamp is around questions section, almost around the end)
the person who originally discovered this is me (the betterchoice 2025 comeback), but thanks to @ThayneCooney (on X) I began poking around again for any twau 2 news and wonder wonder, I did have a surprise

AWW YEAAH SCOTT PILGRIM WILL NEVER DIE
Telltale, at this point we're just waiting for the cancelation update, please hurry up

They really be taking "Silence is a valid option" seriously.
You sly dog, you're gonna make TWAU 2 before Telltale does!! XD

Ah nice, didn't catch that!
The Steam page is up as well and looks like it'll have proper melee combat this time around.
Looks like it's a pseudo-sequel to Takes Off as well!
The two characters behind Scott and Ramona look a lot like Gideon and Julie.

We need to get him to start asking for wolf 2 everyday because he is unstoppable and our only chance

(Blind nervously glances at the “Asking for Minecraft Season 3” thread)
It was sunny but temperate, then rainy and humid, and now it's sunny and humid. Truly the full range of human experience.
The ultimate astroturf. That's next-level community management.
