"Kanda, upon discovering he doesn’t have enough cash to buy time with a sex worker, grabs an unsuspecting woman in the street and drags her off to an alley. Mine finds him gripping the terrified woman by the wrists. As part of Kanda and Mine’s arrangement, the former tasks you with leading a PR campaign to boost his reputation in the community, via a minigame dubbed "Kanda Damage Control"."
I was going to boycott Yakuza 3 Kiwami and play it several years down the road for Dark Ties. But, I can't even stomach this. Not just as a woman who experienced sexual assault herself, but as a decent human being. I don't know why anyone would think this is OK. If this game goes out without any real backlash, I'm going to quit playing Ryu Ga Gotoku games altogether. I'm sure everyone here knows how big a fan of the series I am, but this is just beyond creepy and misogynistic - it makes me sick, metaphorically and literally. I'm sitting here with a pit in my stomach just typing this.
Delisting Yakuza 0,1, 2, 3, and possibly the rest is very typical of SEGA now. They've done the same with the SEGA Genisis games on Steam. Because of that I only have Streets of Rage 1,2, and 3.
Back to Yakuza, casting Yongyea as Kiryu and charging a more expensive version of pretty much the same game, goes for Kiwami 1 and 2. Weird they can't English Dub Kiwami 1 and 2 yet were able to do it with 0 and Like a Dragon Series.
As for Teruyuki Kagawa being able to resume his career without any type of punishment is very dumb (even if he was punished, I doubt he would be arrested for long term). But then again, it's Japan and as much as I like Japanese culture, I won't doubt how much women are mistreated there.

I'm kind of wondering - what if Telltale 2.0 could also bring on Skunkape to also develop remasters for Tales of Monkey Island and Wallace and Gromit: Grand Adventures for modern platforms (that would have Telltale 2.0 as the publisher), with the same polish as the remasters of Sam and Max/Poker Night 1?
Maybe the old versions of those titles from the late 2000's could be phased out, and existing owners on Steam could pay a $5 or $10 upgrade (rather than full price) to get the new version.
For a relatively smaller amount of work than making new content from scratch (Ala Expanse and Wolf 2), they could have a few more "modern" style titles on more consoles.
On the Steam page - evidently the Poker Night remaster has new table unlocks, slight game rebalancing, and other QOL fixes. That's pretty neat stuff for a remaster of such a niche game. I'm kind of looking forward to seeing what all they added.

I was surprised to get a black history month hint on my ancestry tree. I found out my 4th great grandmother Elizabeth Jackson was black.
She owned an account at the Freedman's Savings Bank which was set up for newly emancipated former slaves by Congress, but was saddled with false claims, mismanagement, and fraud by the bank's white officials. It closed down before the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was formed to secure bank deposits. It destroyed the savings of its many account holders, all of whom were former slaves, and led to mass distrust of banks. This is one of the factors (among MANY) that led to more hardship among black Americans during the Jim Crow Era.
I did a deep inspection on my raw DNA several years ago. This explains why it showed some of my ancestors were from Nigeria. I just didn't think it would be so close to me in my blood line.
Looks like Wolf Among Us 2 rumours are back on the menu.

Obviously take this with a grain of salt. The news comes from an article by an Argentinian gaming news site.
If true, it would be the third story they've come up with for TWAU2. If all of the stories had been told, they'd be working on season 4. So maybe just pretend that seasons 2 and 3 are classified.

Wow that looks really good! They absolutely nailed that 2D look for Strongbad.
