The guy who's voicing Marty in Back to the Future, I think.

Yep. Jack Sparrow is another one of his impersonations.

Ah. Fair enough. It seems an appropriate choice then, despite being one to piss off the die-hard loyal MI fans (I'm a loyal fan but also love JS).

The big one I can think of is Scott Pilgrim, his big gimmick being that, since he doesn't really understand Poker, he's constantly conferring with Ramona, seated next to him.

    ("Psst: Rammy. I've got-")
    ("Yes, Scott.")
    ("And that's-")
    ("Yes, Scott.")
    ("OK, thanks.")
    ("Stop calling me Rammy, Scott.")

And to the group: "So, is this anything like 'Vegas Dreams'?....Or 'Punch-Out'?"
He could even bet his winter jacket, his guitar, or (Lord forbid,) THE POWER OF LOVE.

And just imagine Strong Bad trying (and failing, natch) to hit on Ramona.

    Isolated the two weirdest things.

Please stop, Pepsi. Shouldn't you be playing Sonic Colors?

Lara Croft has a PhD in archeology. I wonder if she's bitter that that's always overlooked in favor of her two more..."noticeable" qualities.
  • edited November 2010
Maybe, but I'm sure the marketing department that gave her those two qualities knew exactly what it was doing.

Flint Paper, Saxton Hale, The Thnikkaman, and Jim Darkmagic.
    MANLINESS Night at the Inventory.

    I heartily endorse this concept.

Tim Schafer Night at the Inventory? :D

Actually I think I'm onto something. Manny Calavera! Eddie Riggs! Razsputin! Um... Tim from Host Master and the Conquest of Humor!

    MANLINESS Night at the Inventory.

The Thnikkaman? The manliest Homestar Runner character is clearly Crack Stuntman!

Purple Tentacle (or maybe Doctor Fred!?)purple_tentacle1.png&sa=X&ei=S9zpTPPZKIqRjAfvvqCGAw&ved=0CAQQ8wc41gI&usg=AFQjCNGBOT_mkEmTsfu8ATBrxureiFmsuw (from Day of the Tentacle)

Rest I would have to think long and hard about. I think mine would be made out of a lot of villains though.

I'll get back to you tomorrow with a beautifully Photoshopped image.

Shame Telltale themselves won't answer, it would be interesting to know what could have been!
  • edited November 2010
Actually, bubbledncr of Telltale did answer.
  • edited November 2010
So he did! Guess I was looking for a huge bit of text saying TELLTALE EMPLOYEE while I skimmed the thread.
  • edited November 2010
I don't know if anyone else said these characters but here are some ideas that would be awesome if Telltale could use them.

A ratchet and Clank Character (It could be any one of them they all have great personalities).

A Double Fine character like Raz from Psychonauts or even Eddie Riggs from Brutal Legend.

Even someone like Jimmy Raynor from Starcraft, he has enough personality to go toe to toe as the straight man in hilarious bicker.

And of course any/all other characters from all of Telltale's previous(and future) games!

    My god... you're right.

How could I have forgotten the guy from the beginning of Bad Dudes?
  • edited November 2010
    Guybrush, for sure.

Also, Ellis from Left 4 Dead 2 would be pretty cool.
  • edited November 2010
Sandvich, of course. In fact, Sandvich in every seat. Sandvich Night at the Deli.

    OMGBENDER

Great photoshop job! Bender would be a great addition to a future installment of Poker Night, as his entire raison d'etre is to spout hilarious one-liners and cliches.

And how bad it got at the end :D

Aw, you had to go and remind me didn't you!

I would vouch for Scott Pilgrim to play at the Inventory. You can hear him go on about his greatest fights and his lowest points on his life.
