Heck yeah I did, especially for the Batman and Robin bit. It's how I finally connected to Duck...and yet that's how the game was able to destroy me emotionally yet again.
I actually didn't realize I could at first, because I was looking at the screen for other stuff, and then when I saw the message "You left Duck hanging" I felt so terrible, I immediately reloaded the screen so I could give him five. I literally laughed out loud and felt great pride at seeing "Duck thinks you're super awesome."
I did. Although he only had like 5 seconds of feeling awesome before I started interrogating him about the broken flashlight. Now THAT made me feel bad about my decision. Poor Duck.
I high-fived him without a second thought... The "Duck thinks you are incredibly awesome" made me smile.
I didn't ever really find Duck to be that annoying (I think a lot of people just find younger kids that age annoying because they are so high maintenance and lack enough experience to fend for themselves). In fact, I thought he was quite brave given everything he (and Katjaa and Kenny) went through...
I think people don't like him because he was sort of "dead weight" like Carl was (season 1 TV series), and even Kenny admits Duck is pretty stupid. But if he Duck had survived long enough to get a bit older, I bet he would have smartened and toughened up a lot and grown into being a valuable part of the group.

How could I not high-five him?

I wasn't about leave my sidekick hanging like that. He also did solve the mystery.
You sound like a pleasant person to be around.
I gave Duck a high-five. I thought he was annoying at first, but he kinda won me over somewhat with the Batman reference. :P

Haha I actually really liked Duck and after all his hard work investigating he really deserved the high five.

I did every time except the first time, only because I didn't notice it quickly enough.
"He`s as dumb as a bag of hammers." Kenny describing Duck to Lee.
