Quick update, R&C QForce Vita out and I think Gladiator HD is out in USA but not I the UK yet for whatever reason . my opinions of R&C QForce, well first the games feels a bit laggy when playing it and feels a little slow which is a big downfall since PSASBR and Sly are bigger games and have no slowdown. Second graphics don't Impress me much. They are not bad but not exactly great. Lastly i feel they left out the best multiplayer mode for whatever reason. They left out 2v2 which is a huge shame since I enjoy co-op a lot.
I'm still trying to get all skill points on Ratchet & Clank 1 and i'm on a very annoying one where you have to destroy all street lights on Planet Oltanis. Its not so bad when over half the lights are at the start until you find out you have to do this without dying once and 6 lights are at the path to a gold bolt after you meet ''Steve McQwark''
Better than me. I actually managed to get stuck. Autosaved with no ammo at a point where I have to run through a straight corridor full of enemies and there's nothing to pick up and no going back. Not impossible. It's just one of those things where you get so pissed off trying, you have to put the game down for a long time. I'll eventually do it. I've gotten that similar ToD skill point many times over.
I managed to get it about 5 mins ago. Heh know whats worse? A little while ago i was in the mood to finish my ToD challenge mode save. I was on the planet before Fastoon i think and i had gotten to i think the planet after you find Qwark in the arena and i had most of the weapons fully leveled up and upgraded. The game froze on the loading screen and i got the damn infinite load glitch where the game keeps autosaving, the loading screen stays on screen and just keeps flying into the 3 different places and i was forced to turn the PS3 off. I went and found my data corrupted. Luckily i have PS Plus which had a backup save in the cloud save. so i downloaded the backup save only to find out the hard way, the backup i had was the one i had started off with basically erasing all my hard work that night
Well i finished playing through Ratchet Gladiator again on a save file i had but never finished. I was going to wait till Gladiator/Deadlocked HD came out in the UK but knowing our delayed PS Store release dates it most likely won't be out for 2 weeks or so. So i decided to replay the PS2 version and it holds up pretty damn well and its my favourite Ratchet spinoff. On a small note the soundtrack is great with 2 favourites being the last 2 levels
Ghost Station, and The inside of the Dreadzone station
I enjoyed it because its focus is on the gladiator matches in almost every main series Ratchet & Clank game. Also the comedy was good with the two Vox newspeople who keep making crappy attempts at slandering Ratchet. I think it will be pretty good. I'd still rather have a new game that's not tower defence, but that looks highly unlikely for the current console since they've already started on the PS4 instalment.
Well another week has gone by and still we didn't get Gladiator/Deadlocked HD in the UK yet. I decided to check out some reviews and people's opinions on the port and here's the thing. People says that its riddledwith glitches and crappy framerate. Also They say the cutscenes are extremely glitchy. The people who ported it is Idol Minds who did the very glitchy Ratchet HD collection. It's a bit annoying that Idol Minds have actually made the game even more glitchy than the Ratchet HD collection.
Wasn't the digital version of the collection on sale a month ago for a PS All-Stars sale?.....which for some reason didn't come to the UK store (I think). I think I remember the collection going on sale for a few months ago

Maybe. To be honest I'm not exactly tracking PlayStation related stuff right now.
Just saying but the Ratchet HD collection is extremely glitchy such as Ratchet's oversized helmet and the invincible glitch in R&C 2. I have not encountered any game breaking glitches but as Darth said a while back in this thread, he got a corrupted save glitch twice in R&C 2.
By the way another big glitch in the Ratchet Gladator/Deadlocked HD is the infinite loading corrupt save glitch.
I'm wondering when we will see more news on the R&C Movie. For people who don't know, The movie is going to be a retelling of Ratchet's meeting with Clank and their adventure to save the galaxy from Chairman Drek. It will be interesting to see but personally I was hoping for a new adventure with Nefarious as the villain.
Didn't know that was the plot. Should be interesting - the first game REALLY pales in comparison to the others, and the story was one of the best things about it that hasn't been damaged by the test of time.
Well we all know that Insommiac (in my opinion) would be one of those game developers who keeps an eye on the project to make sure it feels like it could fit in the Ratchet universe. Also the person who writes the stories for the Ratchet games is one of the writers for the movie so...
Sorry for double post but There is some bad R&C News. The writer behind writing the other R&C games and the upcoming R&C:Nexus has left Insommiac Games. He is still writing the R&C movie though.
Since I've finished my Let's Play of Ratchet & Clank 2, I've now started one of Ratchet & Clank 3! Also, I've now learnt that this is one of the few PS2 games to actually use widescreen, so that's handy. Another handy feature is the "strafe lock" camera angle as this means I can finally use R1 to shoot while still using both analog sticks.
Ratchet Gladiator HD Is finally out in UK & EU. If you played QForce online between November and around the 21st of May then you should have gotten an email for a code of Ratchet Gladiator HD for the long wait of the Vita version of QForce (Which in my opinion is worst than the PS3 version as framerate is worse but the online of the PS3 QForce is fun)
Don't appear to have actually gotten that e-mail yet, but hopefully it'll come through in the next day or so.
Well, I say HOPEFULLY. That'll just mean I actually have to start playing the series again, and we all know what time-sinks they are...
Ah well, I'll buy it when it goes on sale. No biggie.

My first thoughts since I only watched and played a tiny bit of the tutorial. The intro with Ratchet,Clank, and Al getting captured by Vox is not in widescreen. The multiplayer Jak skin's textures are glitched and messed up (which is extremely disappointing to me). Once I play it more, I'll tell you of more problems I notice. Right now I'm near the end of GTA V so I wanna try get that finished before moving onto Ratchet Gladiator HD.

I guess just owning it wasn't enough.
Ah well, I'll buy it when it goes on sale. No biggie.

I'd be VERY surprised if they didn't make the leap to the PS4. The series is pretty much a guaranteed money maker for Insomniac, and I see no reason for them to stop making money.

Ratchet's face glitches up during the ''We'll See'' in the cutscene where he first enters the battledome.
Vox's face messes up during the cutscene where he explains the rules of Deadlocked to Ratchet
Clank repeats his line at the end of the qualification course after you beat the first fight in the battledome
Dallas,Al, and Ace looks a little weird
Cutscenes seem to skip frames
When there is a lot of action and enemies on screen, the framerate drops.
I'd be VERY surprised if they didn't make the leap to the PS4. The series is pretty much a guaranteed money maker for Insomniac, and I see no reason for them to stop making money.

Nope, nothing. I guess it's not coming.; Hey ho - no great loss.
I wasn't that big a fan of it, to be honest. The sheer amount of combat, small number of weapons and sheer lack of variety got old QUICK.
Like I say, I'll buy it when it's on offer or something. I don't mind waiting for it.
