A little bit disappointed

  • I'd have loved a release date.. but it's only an announcement. We can probably expect more info within the next two weeks for sure.

  • Message to the OP, you just finished the game this weekend and your agitated already?

Too bad you weren't here from S1E1 when it was released, it has been a rollercoaster.

  • A release date would have been awesome, but its not entirely up to Telltale. They have to get the game approved by the console companies or something like that, before they can announce a specific date. (I forget exactly how it works) I just personally think they could've done better as far as what we got. I don't think they should've hyped up the "big news" as much as they did, because it really wasn't that big of news. I'm grateful we got something at least, but it just didn't fill the hole that the hype created, and I didn't even expect much.

  • I hope it's out in the next 4 weeks

  • The date is somewhere in November. Some guy figured it out because in Steam , when Pre-ordering the game it says "Coming in November" or smth like that (some guy on the internet found out)

I had the same thought, on the other hand: why would TT change the name immediately right after somebody in this community > said this was his name?

That is a awesome catch. I'm shocked they would forget to change the JPEG name before they uploaded it,

I'd bet money that Winston is something semi important if they jumped quickly to change it.

If the lack of a concrete release date disappoints you, you will positively ALWAYS be disappointed by Telltale games, and that's > that.

They can settle on a release date only DAYS before release. It's a crux episodic gaming has to bear.

I think I remember that you posted somewhere that you thought maybe TTG would disclose a expected release month in the big news. It got me thinking that maybe since the cert process can be hit or miss the projected release is literally is on the line at the end of November or beginning of December making it so close that TTG did not want to flat out say coming November then have everyone upset if the date slipped.

I think that's a pretty good guess as any why a release month was not included in the big news.

I hope we get some news next week.

Hey they gave us that extra special 5 seconds at the end with last season clementine and this season clementine...

I know you were expecting more big news. Maybe next time it would be better to just release some news and not disclose the word BIG a few days ahead of it,

The point is, they didn't really give us much of anything.

  • I keep coming back to its hard to play a mature adult game with the PC as a child. And let's be honest clementine is only around 10 years old.

Eh, I'm somewhat skeptical with the idea of Clem being the protagonist. I don't know, I'll give the first episode a shot, at least.

  • @heartlocker

Don't get sucked in to the steam hype. Chances are it's just a place holder in their system. If TTG had a solid expected time frame of November for S2 then why did they not include it in the BIG news they advertised?

  • Yeah well what can I say DEADinTHEhead, it's the little immature punks and the teenage kids that bother wasting their time giving thumbs up & down. Especially going so far as to give you a TD on every single post regardless of the discussion. It's petty and childish BS. Typical stuff that only teenage punks would engage in. I'm not worried nor do I give a rats a$$ about some kid sitting his parents basement sitting in front of his computer chasing after me giving a TD on every single post I make. It's a stupid feature to have on a forum like this anyway. Of course, I am sure this post will get a TD as well just because I said the TU/TD feature is stupid. To the same pimple faced immature toad face punk sitting in front of his/her computer now... hope you have lots of fun with your little TU/TD button. If you get tired of that, I know the same thing you could do with your wrist..... you just might need a box of tissue afterwards!

it's nice to know im not the only one... be careful what you say though, since i posted in this thread, ive been getting thumbs down on almost

I would say we got more from the pics, than from the trailer. It should be the other way around. TT can take as long as they need to finish the game IMO and i wouldn't care. I'd rather them take their time than try to rush the game out. But what upset alot of people was that they hyped up the "BIG news," when it didn't live up to the hype to a lot of people. We got (when you come down to it) a 3 second trailer of a known character running from walkers (gee shocker!) 4 pretty good pics, and found out we will be playing as Clem. Not all that much compared to the hype it recieved.

  • Cisco is right. It's a placeholder date.

If Telltale can't say for sure if it's November or December, Valve can be even less certain of the situation.
