Robert Kirkman said noone is immune, plus from the fact its a virus already inside everyone. we can gather there may not be a chance for anyone to immune.
which may hint the virus started airborne at some point.
There is actually a higher chance there is someone than there isn't. There is people out there who are immune to the HIV virus. So the infecti… moreon in TWD may have someone who is also immune. Would be depressing to think there isn't :P
Who knows what will happen, just have to wait and see.
Maybe you'll get emotionally attached to another character and then if Clem dies you'll play as them, I sorta want season 3 to start as Clem and then you slowly begin to play as a new character in the middle of ep two or three.

I sure expect attaching or fascinating characters to emerge, and on the long term I would welcome the opportunity to experience different point of views in future episodes.
What about a character who made it through months of apocalypse because he was part of a ruthless and violent group who predated on other groups - and your character being good at that... And you take control of him/her the day the group is about to do something even sickier and morally despicable than usual, and you decide if it's the last straw or if you keep going that way. That could be an awesome character : your past would be way more violent and dark than Lee's, all about you screams "bad person" (scars? missing eye ? tattoos?) and it would be up to you if you continue to be a predator for other survivors, or if you try to be accepted by better people than you.
Anyway, that was just an example, my point is that The Walking Dead and the zombie apocalypse is such a rich and fascinating situation, it would be a shame to be stuck forever from now on with playing Clementine.
Now that doesn't means that Clementine would have to die, there are ways to connect the stories so we would still follow her storyline - I'm definitely interested in knowing what she becomes no matter what.

Haven't we? Apart from the countless wars, we have endured plagues, famines and everything else that nature have thrown at us - humanity has come out on top. Not always without scratches, but as a whole we have survived.
We are pretty much defenseless against wild animals - we don't run particularly fast, we don't have sharp teeth or claws, we don't see very well compared to many animals, and our sense of smell and hearing are also well below average so to speak. All this would have caused humanity to end up as a bloody stain on the ground thousands of years ago if it weren't for two things that puts us on top of everything else: our large brains and opposing thumbs. And with this we have conquered the planet and survived.
Frankly, on behalf of humanity's history, I'm insulted by your comment.
"Modern society" hasn't gone through anything bad enough to know this "One of humanity's biggest strengths is that we are quick to adapt to new conditions and strive forward".

I've actually thought it would be cool to take Clementine from being a young girl to being a young woman over the course of the series, ending it in her late teens or so.
The big sticking point on that account: I doubt Robert Kirkman would be happy at the idea of the video game jumping years ahead in time of his own comic series.

No1curr about Robbie. He's just pissed because TTG managed to create a much better story than him! I'm guessing that's why he did that thing with Lilly...

Depends on Season 2.S1,E5 obviously had sequel written all over it,however if they end Season 2 in a fine tone that doesn't necessarily require a sequel by simply wrapping (and expanding) Clem's story from S1,no,there should be no sequel.
Unless they of course decide to milk the series by adding new characters/stories even after Clem's story is finished (if that happens by the end of Season 2).
Why would we see Clem into her late teens? The apocalypse is over at the absolutely latest two years after the outbreak (and I'm VERY generous with time here) and it would be pointless to play her during the aftermath. The doom and gloom is what makes the entire zombiverse tick, you know.
I think she will die at the end of season 2, leaving room for new protagonists.

Really? Lee, the protagonist in season 1 died, which was good - it left hooks for season 2 to latch on to, and it showed that TTG weren't afraid of as one famous author said, kill their darlings.
But then again, he wont pretend it never existed. He will play like everyone else even though he "doesn't want to". Which means it's bullshit. If he didn't wanted it he wouldn''t play.
And this is where my opinion comes in. I didn't even want season two. I still kinda don't.
You do know there's an obvious solution to your problem, right? Refuse to play season two, and pretend it never existed.
I would imagine that if we do get a season 3 it probably be the last one.
Umm no! If that crappy, badly written AMC show deserves 5+ seasons, then so does this masterpiece.

The premise of the series is that the apocalypse is pretty much humanity's extinction event. It isn't ending anytime soon. In this world, the dead will keep on shambling around eating people until humanity is nearly completely wiped out, through rain or sleet or snow or the slow progress of years. Count on it.
Does that make any sense? No, but when has the series ever cared about making sense? It's your standard zombie apocalypse, with all the leaps in logic that premise requires. Examine it too closely and the whole thing unravels before your eyes.

It would be stupid because it would be dull and predictable writing, not because they don't have the nerve to go through with it. Killing a protagonist once is shocking. Do it twice and it becomes a routine and a sign that they're just recycling what came before, afraid to try a new approach.

So far it has not been the gameplay that has made this a good game.
But I admit, I'm a sucker for TTG games, pretty much whatever they released has been an instant buy from me.
TT would be stupid if they stopped at Season 2.. TWD is pretty much a cash cow for them, some people would just buy it for the name even if the gameplay was crap.

Hypocrite.

Oh wow, that's rich coming from you !
Thanks, love
No wonder you're so crazy about Clementine, you're obviously a 10 year old girl yourself.
Yay!
Oh snap! You got me

Funny enough.. I had a strange dream about season 2... Very,... Very strange.. xD

So many theories and ideas going on right now!

This thread is 100% certified fun.
I know lots of fighting

Yeah, I don't want it to go on forever and if it does I don't want them to pass the torch each time

Dont forget, season 1 of the tv show was pretty awesome too until they destroyed it in s2.
But, at least I, consider Clem 10 times more darling than Lee ever was. They can't kill her. That would really surprise me.
