I'm patiently waiting for Season 2 but why are they not releasing series of teasers or screenshots or even trailers? I mean, they overhyped that "BIG" announcement they talked about but I think, some of the fans are getting disappointed already..
If season 2 will have a delay for until 2014. I will cancel my pre order and just move on. I been waiting for season 2 a long time. No one have time to wait many more months when you put your money on the line for before christmas. So i give up if any delay happen that push the date to 2014.

This just comes to show how well TTG can make a franchise. Geez there are so many mixed emotions, that's a testament to how wonderful they are at making games because we as players have grown so emotionally invested.

I have to say, the apparent waiting strategy for a lot of fans on here seems to be:
* Choose an arbitrary date and get excited about it.
… more * Rebuff all attempts to try to dissuade excitement about said arbitrary date.
* Wait anxiously as said arbitrary date comes and goes.
* Get disappointed at Telltale for not releasing information on said arbitrary date.
* Repeat steps 1-4 until another announcement is made.
I don't know if you guys have played Far Cry 3, but...
It's not a case of "don't give out," it's a case of "don't have." Telltale just doesn't know exactly when their games will be released because of their weird development cycle. And that weird development cycle isn't going to change any time soon, so it's a far better strategy to try to adapt than to get worked up over it.
imo the best strategy would be release an estimate of what the longest they'll probably take could be, then when/if we get it earlier, it would be a nice surprise! I'm kind of annoyed over there not being any Season 2 episodes of Playing Dead yet... I mean, I could bare the wait for S2 if we had that.

Then we know it'll happen very close to Christmas. Or why not Late-November? This'd help us to adapt and to have a date to look forward to. Right now we're just looking into the dark...
