In preparation to the release of S2 I recently decieded to make the swtich from PC to playstation and replay S1. I remember reading on the forums during the release of S1 episodes that european users of playsation generally got the game a bit later, can anyone tell me what the average delay was for european playsation users during seseon 1? so I know what i have gotten myself into.

I, errr, have an excellent university degree in one of the most useless faculties known to man and have therefore acquired an awfully stressful job with a re-heee-ally snappy title which pays me considerably less than that friend of mine who became a flat out parcel delivery driver.

I experienced the delay between episode 1 and 2 as particularly unsettling, as you might remember.
We had a whole lot of new people on boar… mored for the ride; even for the Universal franchises in 2011, we didn't have such a huge influx of new members. Just like you, they didn't have the experience and therewith the trust that Telltale would deliver all episodes. The time frame actually was secondary to most people. Telltale had said within a month, and didn't deliver within a month - and also didn't say a word about the matter for a really, really long time.
I don't think something like this will repeat anytime soon. We're presently certain that Season 2 opens before Christmas. The actual real zugzwang for Telltale presently is to make a statement about episode 2 of The Wolf Among us, because we're in week 6 after ep. 1 and nothing's on the horizon yet.

I have played through the entire series on the ipad, but I lost my data so I played it all again. I assume (like with season 1) that the ipad/iphone version will be delayed a bit, but maybe telltale will suprise us iphone/ipad owners. I sure hope the release date is soon.

I agree, certain people must not be true fans of the product if they'd actually stop playing the game over the time it took to get them. I'd be confident in my product as well if I got a similar reception like TWD did. I'd trust my fans would have utter faith in the finalized product of the second season.
Selling a product before it's finished is...kinda the point of episodic gaming. Telltale offers a Season Pass for their games when only the fi… morerst episode has been made because a lot of people they know that they're going to eventually buy all of the episodes anyway and would rather pay the game off in one simple transaction.
Allowing people to pre-order a Season Pass is just taking that one step further, which seems fairly reasonable in this case because Season 2 is just a continuation of Season 1. This time, it even comes with a discount and a collector's DVD so there's a lot more incentive to do it.
I suppose you could say that Telltale is "complacent" or confident that many gamers will get Season 2 because of how much they liked Season 1. Maybe they are. But you'd be hard-press to prove them wrong.

puzzlebox's post's are the only one that matter at all. Everything else is just speculation, guesses or rant's. I just skim through most of this thread looking for his name. I'm just as anxious as anyone else but i'm used to waiting just like we did for each season one episode.
Regardless of the many rumors or TTG's past history of when episodes were released means absolutely nothing. When the dates are set and announced by official TTG, then we'll all know.
Maybe my military past is what has conditioned my degree of patience. I see comments here of people saying "I can't wait another 3 weeks" which makes me roll my eye's, because I remember multiple deployments of 6 month minimum's. A few weeks is a drop in the bucket of time.
I love this game, best I've ever expirenced and I check these forums several times a day for any official word, I would just suggest to the other's here that you realize no matter what you think, what you've heard means nothing til the day we can actually DL and play the game.
