Regardless of the many rumors or TTG's past history of when episodes were released means absolutely nothing. When the dates are set and announced by official TTG, then we'll all know.
Maybe my military past is what has conditioned my degree of patience. I see comments here of people saying "I can't wait another 3 weeks" which makes me roll my eye's, because I remember multiple deployments of 6 month minimum's. A few weeks is a drop in the bucket of time.
I love this game, best I've ever expirenced and I check these forums several times a day for any official word, I would just suggest to the other's here that you realize no matter what you think, what you've heard means nothing til the day we can actually DL and play the game.

same thing happened with that, the pre orders went live and a teaser trailer was released weeks after.. and then weeks to a month or two later still we got the episode...episodes are not made a 100% in advance part of them /story is done as ep1 then they work / finish the next episode and so on even 2 or 3 at a time as things either use the same voice actors/ maps/ area's etc..
fans/ forums users/ and who ever else was demanding, screaming, begging, for a second season... every post almost about season 1 plaudits had a question or statement about season 2 from a fan/user/friend/liker.
so why would tell tale keep quiet again ? make us wait with no info ? just lets us foam at the mouth constantly ?
that didn't work for them in the season 1 ep1 ep2 gap did it ??
it is not good business to make the same mistakes..
now as for this 'similar situation' they gave us some info which is better than none at all... they brought out twau guess what happened people still posted twd s2 comments...
fact is if they don't know a time frame then how are they supposed to tell us when to expect it ?
they said fall 2013,the semantics among us are picking apart that exact time frame... it is not a confirmed date it was a guesstimate..
but no some people take it as gospel just like the wiki page...which people should learn to take with a pinch of salt.
so for me and hopefully other users the pre order is simply the access to the game when ever it's ready, like a future investment, it takes time to mature and evolve in to nice portfolio.

Yet some how this is how I feel with the slow drip of information and the big PREORDER sign that was flashed back in October from TellTaleGames.
That preorder option should have stayed in the bag until a launch trailer was close.

Well, I hope Telltale is aware it'd make us furious. Why would they make us spend money on a pre-order this early only to release it just before Christmas? And I don't think they want Season Two to get into the Christmas sales that quick without making any major profit out of it first. I'd guess for a early December release, and Telltale also need to release Episode Two of The Wolf Among Us this year before christmas.
