Smoking weed has given me the incredible ability of foresight. December 18th is what my mind says is a safe bet. One week before the fat man comes down the chimney.
Also make another Playing Dead please.
I read that Clementine is confirmed to be playable in the first episode of Season 2. Could there be the chance it'll switch to somebody else in the coming episodes?
I don't agree with the original comment since I don't understand why some care so much about the likes and dislikes of every post, but I don't find it cruel or offensive either lol

If you purchase Season Two directly from the Telltale Games store, you'll get access to the episodes as digital downloads as they become available. Sometime after the end of the season, you'll have the option to get a free end-of-season DVD sent to you for just the cost of shipping and handling. The DVD compiles all 5 episodes in the season, and usually some special bonus content.
I just hope it comes soon. Not trying to be funny. My definition for soon right now is 1-2 weeks. We've been waiting for SO long. And have seen so much BS soons. But is it really worth getting our hopes up?

my s1 files are on steam but it looks like my s2 pre-purchase is a telltale code.
how will that launch?
any chance of being able to redeem it on steam?
If I was in one of those, I'd rather you wake me up when all the episodes are out, also the wolf among us and Telltale's next project. And the project after that.

Yes. It's the same people who were behind 400 Days so I wouldn't be surprised if we play as 25+ uninteresting characters. I don't really like the idea of Clementine as the protagonist either. It may sound perfect to some, but it doesn't sound that way for many others. Both sides make up a significant portion of the fan base, and it has been debated from the beginning.
I'm going to give season two a chance regardless of what I feel now. I'm pretty pessimistic about it for a lot of reasons, but this issue isn't even much of a factor at all for that pessimism. I know I don't have enough information to say the game will be a disappointment as if it's a matter of fact anymore than those who have already declared it another success. Regardless of our expectations based on the things we do know, we still know next to nothing about the actual game.

Guys, care to give Telltale a break? It's like you all are staring over their shoulders, breathing down their necks, and trying to supervise their every move. Yeah, it's been a year. THAT'S IT, a year? You know how short that is? Just several months ago, we were worried about it being released too early! Now Telltale says soon, and it's like the dogs are jumping around, salivating for their dinner that's coming when it's ready.
It's Thanksgiving, it's a time for trying to be more considerate, and having patience, and enjoying your time with friends and family. This is a community, and all of us might be around each other for a looooooong time, so back off a bit please? We don't run their company, nor do we work for them, so we don't really have a say in what happens unless they allow it. They haven't given a release date, so every single prediction, until they say otherwise, is wrong. Doesn't matter if you want to hear a date, or see the game out right this second, because they'll release it when and how they want it.
Whether they make this game in the fall, or next year, or a year after that(not saying it'll happen), you really can't change it. Allow them to do what they need to do without feeling like they are on a leash. Give them a chance I doubt you'd be disappointed by their work. It takes more than what you might think to make a video game, whether from scratch or a mod, and I'd say they made it rather quick. Be happy we are getting it so quickly unlike other franchises, ya know?
Just wanted to say that, alright? Let Laura and all them get a little space, because if they say info will be given soon, trust in them for it. A little faith goes a long way! P.S. - I know you guys have tried to be less demanding and all, I just want to let them enjoy their holiday. They are humans too, whether we see them as that or not :P

I guess you have a good point. But even something along the lines of "everything is on schedule" or even some kind of update on TWAU (I know, wrong forum) would make a lot of people happy
Telltale's PR people don't need explicit management clearance to post 'pointless' comments, I guess.
As for actual info, however...
Also, they love us so much that they even post comments from out of their holidays. Isn't that something?

Made my day
That .gif is killer.
if i buy the walking dead s1 on steam the files of 400 days will affect on s2 if i buy it on telltale?
Yeah, if you still have the files and are installed onto your system they should be detected no matter which store you purchase it from.
We sure showed that intern what's what!
thanks for the info
if I purchase the game ¿do i have to pay for the shipping of the DVD?

you'll never know
Dude Clementine is the perfect protagonist for season 2.
It was just curiosity, not to be taken seriously. No need to bite my head off people.
And I agree, she's perfect. If she wasn't in the season, I probably wouldn't play it.
Only if you want the DVD.

I'm bored. And tomorrow is Thanksgiving. I am thankful for S1 and thankful for my friends & family. But also i am thankful that we're getting S2.

...And they gave us a "very soon" in October... It's time they make up their minds.
I know right, We've been waiting for Season 2 almost a year....
No. It's already been a year for me. I played it on November 20th.
I'm hoping it comes out 1st or 2nd week of december.
I'm hoping for December 10th, but my gut tells me it'll be the 17th.

You might come out too old to play videogames
I have the Kingdom Hearts version saved.XD

I would like to wait 6+ the months to play these games as well, but it's pretty hard to do once you already have a lot of interest in them.
I'm just hoping it's good when does come out.
Mrs. Perusco, that comment just made my day xD I'd say it was worth... eh, ClemxSalt-lick funny lol
Telltale officials should troll back more.
wake me up
when december eeeends

I cant help but wonder why Telltale employees have time to post pointless comments but not give us any kind of info......

I would rather have update on The Walking Dead Season 2
me too, as well as just about everybody else on this forum probably. coughcoughreleasedatecoughcough
The one from no more than three days ago didn't suffice?
But, yeah, a Wolf among Us update on the other hand WOULD be much appreciated and is mucho necessario.
I sure hope it comes out a week or two before that
