That's why it's called a "reveal" trailer. What you're looking for, the full-fleged "launch" trailer which actually shows about 95% in-game moments, will come later.
Eh, depends. Sometimes, the teaser trailer is the same as the reveal trailer. This happened with TWAU. With TWD S1, we got a bunch of trailers, including a teaser, reveal, as well as a story trailer. I don't think that TT is going by that, though.
It should just install and launch from your computer, like I said it doesn't matter where you install or launch it from so long as you have the files you are ready to go
And for the steam code I'm not sure. You could try but I doubt it will work, if there are any problems you can get in touch with telltale and they should exchange it for a steam key.
my s1 files are on steam but it looks like my s2 pre-purchase is a telltale code.
how will that launch?
any chance of being able to redeem it on steam?
With Wolf, we had a "reveal" trailer that was more extensive then a teaser trailer before we got the Wolf launch trailer. I expect Monday will give us a similar "reveal trailer" for Season 2 and another small batch of screens.
What I think is going to happen
1st week of December they release 1st episode of The Walking Dead Season 2
AND THEN
3rd week of Decem… moreber they release 2nd Episode of The Wolf among us.
On Tuesday They have the premiere for Season 2 and then they release the 1st episode on Friday.
the link on the page before this is promising though at least. If there wont be any previews we can sort of expect it at any time, I would think. Maybe we will get to play it within a couple weeks, even though that is probably being way too optimistic

TWD Season 2 will not open next week, that much is pretty certain from Laura's last statement. If Job is correct, we could expect the TWD Season opener on Dec 10/11 because the last possible release week for TWaU would be the following - i.e. December 17/18th.
Telltale has decided that they can do simultaneous releases, and I really wonder if they can. If it does happen like that, the time frame between ep1 and ep2 of The Wolf among Us would be even longer than between ep1 and ep2 of TWD's first Season. No official comment has been made that there's anything wrong with that. I... don't like it, if only for the reason that I saw this forum go up in flames once for completely dumb reasons, and while TWaU fans have already proven to be a patient lot, there's a limit somewhere.
Not trying to be a wise ass here, but according to the theory of relativity, EVERY time frame is entirely dependent on perspective.
Telltale has to work with sketchy estimates, it's the nature of what they're doing. If we keep stigmatizing words in their marketing dictionary, all they can do is use similar words for the same kind of imprecise time frame. If 'soon' isn't liked as an adjective any more, they'll have 'in a little while', and if that isn't liked any more, how about in a short time, in due time, in short order, before long, ere long, forthwith, posthaste, expeditiously, coming down the pike, lickety-split or what have you.
I'm sure Laura also has the thesaurus open when she writes her blog posts.

I don't get why everybody is banging on about how you've had to wait a "whole year" for the next season of The Walking Dead, like it's been some great trial and you all deserve better. It has only been a year... sort of... if you don't count the bonus episode they released in July, basically as fan service.
I can't think of many game series with story of the same quality as TWD that ship on an annual or even bi-annual schedule. It takes time to craft genius. They could rush it out and give you sub-par crud, but who wants that?

Puzzlebox, just out of curiosity, was there ever any talk about using another character as the PC for season 2? Or was Clementine always the first choice?
I can't wait to have more info but I really hope that it's not going to be another "coming soon".Maybe a new trailer with the release date?
Usually they release an episode few days after the trailer so maybe a trailer on Monday and the release of episode one at the end of the week or the 2nd week of December.
For those in the US, happy Thanksgiving!
And for everyone waiting expectantly for Season Two (that's all of us here, right?)... don't get … moreoverexcited, but I think I can say that by Monday there'll be a LITTLE bit more discussion fodder to be thankful for.
Telltale, do you by any chance make fortune cookies? A friend of mine also waiting for The Walking Dead: Season Two had a fortune cookie today, which gave him the following message:

Exactly. And don't they usually give a teaser trailer between the reveal and launch trailer? Could be what we're up for next. Well, hopefully.

my sincere apologies.

Do want. Want good.
WANT NOW
I would rather not see any images or trailers at all and have it spoiled.. Just a date! I will get to see everything I need.
With Wolf, we had a "reveal" trailer that was more extensive then a teaser trailer before we got the Wolf launch trailer. I expect Monday will give us a similar "reveal trailer" for Season 2 and another small batch of screens.
better avoid the forums/facebook/twitter/ video game sites once a new trailer/info/ date/actual release hits then
Actually, I do avoid most everything.. I check here for updates and really don't bother reading most post's.
I'd rather have a date too. But if they can't provide us with that, screenshots and trailers will have to do.
Turkey already comin out of my ass. I need some infos about Walking Dead.
same here once i have a release date i go dark if there's an earlier release on a different format to the one i use
again why the hell would anyone down vote this ?
strange person,..
Gotta admit I'm beginning to dislike the word "soon". It's entirely dependent on perspective and doesn't seem to mean anything.

Hmmmm you're probably right.
I'm not sure yet, but I did hear that The Walking Dead Season 2 premiere is coming before Wolf.
Really? If that so, they're probably disregarding their "4 - 7 weeks rule" if they're planning to release TWD first.
I believe that is just fan speculation. Nothing official indicates this.

we'll find out on Sunday or Monday if I'm right or not.
I stand corrected. Thanks for sharing that. An interesting development indeed.
so close now, but yet so far away still... Telltale end our agony!!!!!
Since the announcement of season 2 this has been my life.
Gif relevant.
Same here!

If no previews then my best guess would be we'll be playing next week.

It's kinda hard not to be patient. We've been waiting for the 1st episode of Season 2 for a year now.
I hope job is correct I'm dying to play Season 2.
No it's not its ether 10th/11th or 17th

Agree 100%, though gotta admit it was to be expected that people would have much less patience with the game being so popular.
If you read this you're a zombie.

Telltale is really good at teasing!
Can't wait for Season 2

No matter what day it will be out.. If it so have to be christmas, my family have to wait for me at the table! >:D
PS: Love the game, thanks TTG!
