Telltale, do you by any chance make fortune cookies? A friend of mine also waiting for The Walking Dead: Season Two had a fortune cookie today, which gave him the following message:
"The thing you desire most is coming very soon".
Telltale, c'mon, I'm begging for mercy over here, old boy.
I'm sorry I pre-ordered it, really, I am, but... will you please -- please just release the game already?

Don't you mean coming onto here, posting, but posting no real info despite people wanting and asking info related questions all around them yet them avoiding it all like the plague?
Id love to know this as well, its gonna be interesting since most ppl are AGAINST violence against kids...but I swear I would love to see a almost rape scene play out and who would step in to stop things and if that would become Clem's new daddy figure, or ya know something traumatic like that is all cuz sooner or later even Clem will get used to zombies...
Puzzlebox, just out of curiosity, was there ever any talk about using another character as the PC for season 2? Or was Clementine always the first choice?
I just put this on preorder yesterday, oddly now im excited for it XD Goes to replay season 1 and 400 days again
TellTale: I just bought my buddy the 400 days DLC AND the full Season 1 game yesterday so give us some info since most have given ya money recently ya?:D
You know its pretty vague by saying "release season 2" they will release it but if they commented n said that they will....that could mean today to a day before xmas......

Rape or "almost-rape" as something that inevitably happens to a female character for the sake of drama and/or for turning her into a damsel in distress is a cheap and misguided cliche.

10 to 1 says the news will be "coming soon" or some other variant of that, because with the number of times we have heard "soon" just shows how horrible TT vocabulary is. BEHOLD TELLTALE!! KING OF VAGUE STATEMENTS!!!
just kidding, but seriously we need something other than the usual "say nothing with a few words" like coming soon
Telltale now have exactly three weeks and one day to release both The Wolf Among Us, and The Walking Dead before Christmas. It will be a tight schedule! We should expect a release of The Walking Dead really soon, about a week I'd say. I'm guessing Telltale want to leave a gap between the two games.
Guys, care to give Telltale a break? It's like you all are staring over their shoulders, breathing down their necks, and trying to supervise t… moreheir every move. Yeah, it's been a year. THAT'S IT, a year? You know how short that is? Just several months ago, we were worried about it being released too early! Now Telltale says soon, and it's like the dogs are jumping around, salivating for their dinner that's coming when it's ready.
It's Thanksgiving, it's a time for trying to be more considerate, and having patience, and enjoying your time with friends and family. This is a community, and all of us might be around each other for a looooooong time, so back off a bit please? We don't run their company, nor do we work for them, so we don't really have a say in what happens unless they allow it. They haven't given a release date, so every single prediction, until they say otherwise, is wrong. Doesn't matter if you want to hear a date, or see the game … [view original content]
I think they're planning on releasing The Walking Dead first before The Wolf Among Us based on the tweet I read. So, they don't necessarily comply on 4-7 weeks gap of each episodes if they released The Walking Dead first..

They are going to release Season 2 before Wolf and they even said "Episode 1 of The Walking Dead Season 2 will be available to download before Christmas."

Which story did Vanaman write in 400 days? I see his name in the credits, but could never find his name in relation to any particular episode. I assumed he was credited for his writing of the original game which carries over into 400 days in a small role. The writing and voice acting is the by far the best parts of the expansion, but mean little when they end so quickly. It's like comparing a commercial to a miniseries.
The reason I stated telltale's reputation for creating some very bad games in the harsh way that I did is because that is what I heard from many gamers long before The Walking Dead game was released. I haven't even played them and would like try them if I find them for the right price.
If you didn't already know, Sean Vanaman wrote one of the stories for 400 Days before he left.
Also, it seems a bit melodramatic to infer T… moreelltale creates "the worst games around" from a few mediocre titles. Sure, Jurassic Park had little gameplay and the CSI games were side projects from Telltale's old days, but I'd hardly say those games define Telltale overall. Even before Walking Dead put Telltale into the mainstream spotlight, Telltale still made plenty of popular titles such as Sam and Max, Tales of Monkey Island, Strong Bad, etc. Considering that there are developers that release massively bugged/unfinished games or even go as far as to blatantly lie about features to consumers, it seems a bit hyperbolic to infer Walking Dead was Telltale's only saving grace because of a small handful of other titles.
Yep, just 23 days left until TWD:S2Ep1... I do think having a pessimistic outlook is best, in all seriousness. It means you won't be disappointed, and might(might) be pleasantly surprised.

You know when you hear something, and you kind of laugh because of context(because his name's Walker) but then feel like an asshole for it afterwards? Because that just happened to me :c
I'm beginning to get worried about what happens if the 'discussion fodder' doesn't come today or tomorrow. That could mean that the actual game is being delayed, too. And that is certainly not something we want to hear.
We're from different time zone and what day is it there? I'm from Philippines and it's just 8:31 PM Sunday in here. I read we will be getting news probably on Monday.
I'm beginning to get worried about what happens if the 'discussion fodder' doesn't come today or tomorrow. That could mean that the actual game is being delayed, too. And that is certainly not something we want to hear.
Why everyones so dissatisfied? I think that more time to wait is better than game full with bugs and shits. TWD is the best game no matter what..(i think ) Its now December yeah! It will come out soon. Need a litle patience for it....
We're supposed to have more news by monday so I think it's definitely possible things will happen today, tonight being the mid-season finale of the show after all. The game is still probably at least a week away, puzzlebox did say not to get overexcited with the news that's coming, it probably won't be a release date, just screenshots or maybe a trailer? but I would love to be wrong about that.
I'm beginning to get worried about what happens if the 'discussion fodder' doesn't come today or tomorrow. That could mean that the actual game is being delayed, too.
Thankfully, that is completely unrelated.
Telltale Games has estimated the first episode to release before Christmas, and is in fact continuously confirming that they're going to make it (compare that to present proceedings with The Wolf among Us). Telltale's community person has written one line in the forums about what she THINKS will happen on Monday.
It means nothing if that news bit doesn't come.
But I do think we get something in the vicinity of an actual release date tomorrow.

@TheLovelyLittleShota What the hell is wrong with you?

Happy December 1 community. The most anticipated month for... I think for everyone of us.
Hopefully we'll get some news.

It's December 1 already! 24 days before Christmas and 20 days before the end of Fall.

I'm not reading this.

Okay, so that means that they won't be able to comply to their 4-7 weeks gap per episode.

Yep I agree. Expecting is one way of hurting yourself.
I looked it up, and found out he wrote Russel's story.
That is literally unrelated to anything in this thread.
(?) Your gibberish confuses everyone
