Guys, is Telltale going to stick on Fall 2013 release? Because in the past few weeks, they keep on telling us "Before Christmas", I stand corr… moreected but I think Fall will officially end on December 21 and at the same time, before Christmas is until December 24 right?
Nah, that screenshot was the only thing I was referring to. I'd say "more news SOOOOON" but you guys love to tease us about that...
I daresay there'll be something more before the premiere in the next few weeks though.
For anyone who had doubts, a vague "release date has been given for Season Two". Job's tweet says "this month". And they can't launch on the Christmas week. So that puts Season Two in the span of December 3 to December 20. Less than three weeks from today!
Nothing will happen this week, most likely. But the last week before X-mas is rather reserved for TWaU, soooooo...

So if we assumed that your guess is correct, then we will get TWaU on exactly a day before Christmas? And is season premiere episode longer or just the same as before? (more or less 2 hours of gameplay)

I'd rather guess they're trying to pull off TWaU episode 2 in calender week 51, Dec 17th / 18th. That would be more than two months already, it's REALLY high time.
As to the episode length, Telltale usually takes a bit more time with exposition. Consequently, Season openers tend to be a bit longer, I think. But if the main character actually needs no introduction and several other characters (like Omid!) also don't, they can pull the storytelling tighter than in Season 1, making the first episode shorter. It really all depends on what they're trying to get across in episode 1. If Clem's situation gets more complex socially, I'd expect a longer episode to follow. In TWD, the social relationships stretch the storytelling. It's never the action, it's never 'what happens', because 'what happens' only takes minutes.

I'm more concerned by how long it takes for the 2nd TWAU episode than the S02 premiere tbh, because I really don't want them to be super late with the new episodes this season. Judging by how long it's taken them for TWAU, it seems they are taking the longest they can take while still staying "on schedule". I can wait for TWAU, 'm not sure how patient I can be with TWD, considering how hyper I've been about it.
So she does meet up with Omid (and christa?) Omg how annoying.
I dont want clem to go with those two idiots.. Season 2 is starting to seem like just another sequel put out there to make a quick buck. Really regret preordering this now, ffs! Why telltale, why?
Are you kidding? Omid and Christa is the perfect duo for Clementine. Christa seems to be very good with children, and Omid got the humor which is very important to keep our spirits up.

No they are not. I bet telltale were all like "ppl are gonna be so happy now they see Clem is with Omid"...eh no? Omid is a retard, Christy is a shedevil. Great, just great for Clem. I'd rather have her go alone than to be with those two.
Why do you say that? They're actually pretty smart if they got off that building they were trapped on. You'd rather have Clem by herself or with strangers she doesn't know? At least she's safe with them. That's all that matters. You really don't wanna play Season Two just because 2 characters? I didn't see anyone quit playing just because Larry was an asshole. Or if Kenny was being a douche. Or Lily was being Lily. No you didn't. Not that i know of.

@valiante Well, that is your opinion, and I respect that. But the majority of us are very happy indeed to see Omid returning, so don't put all your eggs in one basket. I'm sure you'll buy the game anyway, even if Omid is there.

Perhaps, but it's more likely that Kenny's fate will be explored, as in either dead, or gone nuts. His story arc is over, he lost everything. Unless he somehow manages to be stronger mentally than Lee.
Remember that you can tell Clem and Omid/Christa different things, if you tell them "meet at the train", it seems logical they WILL meet up. But what happens if you tell them both two different things, it should make sense that they will not find each other that easy.

Hmm, but that would mean that the dialogue choices are... useless? Yeah, the two silhouettes are them. Still, a shame, pointless decision? I wonder if the decision "go to countryside / get another ship / city" make any sense?

I guess Telltale will wrap it up nicely to force Clementine to head to the countryside and abandon finding Omid and Christa in Savannah. Perhaps the over-run of Walkers force her to just... leave the city.

If Clem & Omid are close to Gil's Pit Stop, that can only mean the "400 Days" campsite can't be far away either. I honestly have no idea how this will play out. If they come across the camp, will they encounter any characters who chose to stay behind in 400 Days? Or will they only find tragically zombified versions of them?
We don't quite know when this all happens in the timeline, but I don't think it's been 400 days for Clementine yet. However, if Christa is still alive, and giving birth in the premiere, then it's going to be SUPER close.

Did you guys see the mid season finale of the walking dead tv Show? Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. But anyway I hope we get a relase date soon. Can't.... Wait..... Much..... Longer.
Hate to ruin the mood, though I guess that's my job as the cynical one, but I think everyone here is forgetting Puzzlebox said TWD:S2 is coming out in 3 weeks. (3 whole weeks.)
True and notice how its not all gated up and stuff as well? That kinda makes me think that 400 days was possible not a connecting point for season 2 but something else, idk how to word it but look
400 days :
1.shows the dinner being all gated up and protected and even a bit trashed
Season 2:
1. So far does not look like the dinner has even been touched
Just based on that little speculation, does this mean the events of 400 days have really yet to happen and say we saw the middle to the ending of 400 days instead of the starting of it? Idk how to word it correctly Does anyone else see what I am trying to say?
If they want to release it in three weeks they won't get TWAU out in time for Christmas unless they give decide to release it before TWD. I think they'll release TWD between December 13 and December 17.

Just to clear this up... it said "releasing later this month", not "coming soon".
The premiere is within 3 weeks or so now!
She said this in the 'The News Was A Screenshot!' thread. Though now I do realise she said 'within', which I guess means there still might be some hope for a soon-ish release after all.

Right.
They intend to stick to that release window, and I personally don't expect anything to happen in calendar week 52 (Dec 23 - Dec 29).

Tough questions here.

They never confirmed it. He could still live.

Clem being with Christa and Omid would be a fixed state, even one that would rob Clem of her ability to make her own decisions.
I guess Clem's new parental bliss will be rather short-lived.
@valiante Well, that is your opinion, and I respect that. But the majority of us are very happy indeed to see Omid returning, so don't put all your eggs in one basket. I'm sure you'll buy the game anyway, even if Omid is there.

They'll meet anyway, no matter what Lee told Omid, Christa, and Clementine. Remember the two silhouettes, (obviously Omid and Christa now).
Hmm, but that would mean that the dialogue choices are... useless? Yeah, the two silhouettes are them. Still, a shame, pointless decision? I wonder if the decision "go to countryside / get another ship / city" make any sense?
Okay. I'll take what we can get.
I guess Telltale will wrap it up nicely to force Clementine to head to the countryside and abandon finding Omid and Christa in Savannah. Perhaps the over-run of Walkers force her to just... leave the city.
Nothing's proven until we see Kenny's dead body. Whether it's walking or not doesn't really matter.
