Always 8 Notifications
ok not really about twd but why when I look at all my notifications do I always have 8 left? I know if I really have a notification if its like 12 or something but if its like 9 or 10 it just goes back to 8 when I click on it. any ideas or (well from this site) insults

This would be better suited to the "TellTale Talk" subforum. Anyway, I have the same problem, except instead of 8 it's 2. Never gets any lower than 2 anymore, it's annoying.
that was how much it was last month then last week it was 6, and now its 8. by the time episode 2 comes out I fear the lowest number is going be in the 20's if not higher.
I always had at least 12, even before becoming a Mod.

It's a supremely tedious problem, unfortunately. These unread notifications are buried somewhere down the heap of the notifications in your feed. If you really, REALLY want to get rid of the '8 notification' problem, you'll have to dig down your feed and press "load more" possibly dozens, possibly hundreds of times (in Blind Sniper's case).
Those 8 unread notifications are somewhere deep down there.

honestly I was surprised I wasn't attacked since the hostile crowds have been out lately but thanks for keeping it peaceful guys, now to be negative for a second I now have 9 notifications that wont go away -_- but again now that I know its not just me I kind of care a lot less about it.

Welp, I kept clicking and eventually chipped it down to 10 instead of 12 notifications. Progress was made, but the list only loaded so many entries so those 10 other unread and obscure notifications will haunt me for the rest of my life.
Try again another day. The first time I tried it went down to 4 before It quit loading. then I tried again and it kept going. Of course you being a mod and all im sure you have a LOT more notification than I do.
Yay! It worked! I tired again and now I finally have zero notifications.
