I'm thinking that episodes 2-3 are mostly going to be about the dilemma with Carver and then there is a devastating point towards the end of ep. 3 where some people from the new group die. Maybe Clementine blames herself for someone's or the whole group's death (referring to the blood on her hands metaphor in the thumbnail) She could also be blaming herself for running away from the older group, in Savannah, and causing the trip to the Marsh House that leads to the death of Ben, Kenny, and Lee. Even Omid's death could be haunting her because she let the scavenger get the gun. "Amid the Ruins" could partly be about Clem looking back at all of the deaths she thinks she caused and all the stress is pushing her to the edge of sanity.
That would make the episode dark, nostalgic, and awesome in my opinion.
ok im going to check mine right now..... yeah I got the one with vince and her wiping the blood horizontally and her looking downward. as opposed to the one with the Kenny looking guy and her wiping the blood vertically. Myth busted?
ya i notice that too, i loaded 3 of my season 1 and 400 days files all with different Decisions and choosing other choices but all 3 of the files just had the vince looking figure, im playing on 360 btw.
Season 1 took place in Georgia, and if you look at the licence plate before Christa is attacked it says North Carolina. Christa said they're g… moreoing to Wellington, and in real life Wellington is in Virginia, which makes sense since Virginia is directly north of North Carolina. Plus Lee said that his ex-wife lived in Virginia, so... there's that. The only thing that's bugging me is that the diner / pit stop in 400 Days (which Vince's group was next to at the end) was in Georgia (we know this because we see Kenny and Duck go into it in the beginning and Kenny said that Duck was attacked at a gas station when it all started), and Tavia wouldn't have traveled from North Carolina/Virginia all the way to Georgia just to go looking for survivors, right? Unless the something happened and everyone with Tavia or that community they were heading to also started heading north. Not really, but I don't necessarily know what the different pictures mean but I got the vertical war paint/blood(?) with the Kenny look alike. I got everyone to go with Tavia in 400 Days so I wonder if everyone who didn't go with her are the ones that take Clem in.

I am playing on ps3. when i first bought the episode (before loading my S1 save. i looked at all the slides, it had Clem clem looking down)
after saving and making two save files making different choices theyre both her looking right(our left) so the picture changed after importing my save
so it might be decisions from 400 days. and/or what you chose for kenny in S1. E4.
Yeah, I play TWD on iPad and on the ep 4 slide, Clem is looking down, vertical smears, and the Kenny-looking silhouette. I'm pretty sure the differences in characters in the background are purely due to the platform, but I have no idea why.
Actually in the other thread it's starting to look like the different slides people are getting has something to do with what console they're … moreplaying on.
So far it looks like PC is getting the one with face forward, vertical smears, Kenny silhouette. Xbox 360 appears to be getting the one with face forward, horizontal smears, Vince silhouette. PS3 seems to be getting the one with Clem facing left. Of course this might turn out to be wrong but unless there was a save glitch, it doesn't look like our choices affect what slide we see.
edit: It also looks like iOS is getting the same as PC (Clem facing forward, vertical smears, Kenny silhouette) but I've only seen one report of it so far.
Maybe she found the people responsible for Christa's death (or someone else has been murdered) and has gone into RevengefulClem mode to take them down. Who knows what Clementine has had to go through to get to that point in the story. Judging by the way things have gone so far I'd say she's going to end up in some very dark places before the end.
I think you might be right. The red stuff on her face and hands could be just symbolic in this slide; not literal war paint. Then again, it could be that it is, and that she joined some cult-like/crazy group.
Thanks for the info. The only real question about the different slides now is why make them different at all? Unless someone from Telltale comes along and gives us an answer (not likely), we can only speculate on that for now.
