Major plot hole walking dead episode 5

edited January 2014 in The Walking Dead

Why did the zombie guard go after clem, again?

Comments

  • If you mean because they smothered zombie guts all over themselves. I'm gonna say it wore off or something, that or telltale forget about the previous scene where we walked through 100 zombies untouched,

I don't see why that would matter now since were already at S2 but if you insist...hmmm yes, Clem did have the walker blood which should have shielded her from the walker security guard but it must have worn off. Telltale put it that way so it wouldn't be too easy for us players to just end the game right there without a little adrenaline rush. So it was kinda used like a "bridging event" towards the epic conclusion.

  • Then, how did clem make it out?

  • If this is what he's talking about it's probably because she wasn't acting like a zombie at the time, there's a part in the comics where someone(trying to keep this non spoilery)gets eaten because they panicked too much and they had covered themselves in zombie guts.

  • That makes sense although lee never told her to act like a zombie. There's also the question of how clem dragged lee into the store in the first place, as that isn't very zombie like.

When lee went on a rampage, he didn't act like zombie. Yeah the zombies did attack him, but after awhile they left him and he was certainly not acting like a zombie.

    EDIT:^Beat me to it.

  • Yeah, i always wondered how she got Lee to the store, probably just oversight from the devs.

  • They wanted to show that Lee is badass and will do whatever it takes to find Clem. Although I agree on that how did Clem managed to drag Lee into the store, which was clearly an oversight.

  • Because she was stealing.

  • Lee and Clementine were talking. That attracted it's attention.

Makes sense...somehow. But there's still the part where I just thought: 'How the fuck did Clementine, a nine year old girl, pull Lee, a grown up man that couldn't help her a bit because he passed out, into the store again? And pulled the gate down wich looked like it was to high for her to reach anyway, if not, then still pretty heavy?
Through a street swarmed with one thousand walkers?
And they spoke anyway, on the street Lee says to Clementine: 'Clem, don't...!' or something, after she saw her Zombie parents.

  • Lee told clem to walk very slowly and stay close. I don't have any idea how clem dragged Lee into the store but who knows maybe after Lee fainted Clementine had a rush of adrenaline. I mean after confirming that her parents were dead, Lee was all she had left an when he fainted the fear of him being dead took over. Clementine say that the door was only a little open when she found it. I think the walker was attracted by the talking and clem smashing the window. Lee didn't move much so I think the walker only thought that clem was alive.

  • Could you possibility message me the name of said character? I'd like to look into it.

  • It was about to rain and though we never actually see it, the weather and noises of thunder indicate that a storm was coming. Originally I thought it was gonna rain on us and that would be the end of that. I imagine it started raining right as Clem got Lee in that garage and the smell wore off. Oh yeah, also Clem was crying Lee actually shouted at one point. That might've made it suspicious.
