I would wanna see more of Vince. His story begins on day 2 and it would be interesting to see things play out differently depending on if you chose Danny or Justin.
I'd love to see more of Shel. Hers was an interesting story.

Russell was probably my second least favorite. My least favorite was Wyatt I think. I'd like to see where all their stories go though. I just wasn't too fond of Russell or Wyatt personally.
I'd pick Shel, if Becca was no longer in the picture. If she's still around, I'd take Vince instead.

Me too. I'm curious about his history. They never give too many details about the murder. He's got some things in common with Lee in that respect. I like flawed, but likable characters who can redeem themselves. Most of the characters from 400 Days were flawed, but Vince just happened to be one of my favorites. Not to mention, it was pretty cool that his story takes place right as the outbreak is starting.

Well, I'd pick Vince, Wyatt, or Bonnie.... But as I've said before, the only character likely to show up as a protagonist is Bonnie because she was the only character who'd go with Tavia no matter what. I'm interested in seeing both Vince and Wyatt's stories, but as for them being the FOCUS of S3? I really don't think it will ever happen because last time I checked, about 50% of people won't see Vince ever again. It's a real shame, but it's true.

Russell would be my first pick. It would be interesting to see if he runs into Nate again in the future.
Shel, definitely. After seeing how she and her sister were developing as a team, and then finding that you could choose to call Becca's bluff on her earlier vote to let Stephanie die, that dynamic appeared to have a lot of potential. I personally have two sisters who get along well, so I can relate to their struggle with dealing with other guys.
On the other hand, Russel is also an interesting candidate because, later at the camp, if, as Vince, you go with Danny, Russel comments that he's glad Danny isn't around anymore but refuses to explain why. In Vince's intro, Danny mentions he wouldn't be able to lie while testifying on the stand in court, and yet later if you say, as Vince, "Well, you were convicted", Danny replies that just because he was convicted doesn't mean he did it. A strange contradiction there, which seems to suggest that maybe Justin was wrong when he joked about Danny's reason for being in jail, and that maybe the underage girl was really a boy.
So how about Vince and Shel who try to survive after losing Becca? Because you know TTG: someone who doesn't deserve it is going to die.
This makes me wonder if Nate simply changed his name to Carver. Psychopaths are slippery that way..
Russel if you mean from day 1 as we would get to see all that steve stuff or maybe Bonnie to see why she was drugged up

I rather liked Bonnie as a character; she's interesting because she's one of the few people for whom the apocalypse wasn't an unmitigated tragedy. It forced her to get off drugs and gave her a second chance at life, albeit a rough, dangerous, and likely short one. Wyatt would be fun as a protagonist just because he's so different. Vince would probably be my bottom choice; nothing against him, but his backstory is a lot like Lee's, and why do that again when there's so many other possibilities to explore?

I think Vince's life post ZA would be a little too similar to Lee's for it to be interesting - having to hide his criminal past, etc.
Russell and Wyatt could be interesting as they both left other groups and I'd like to see them.
I think we've explored a similar familial relationship with Lilly and her father so Becca and Shel would not be that interesting to me.
Ultimately, I like Bonnie's personality and would pick her if I had to. It could be interesting if she were part of the bandits that Ben was giving drugs in season1ep2/3 but I doubt it since most of them get killed.
