I think about TWD everyday. It's like impossible for me to not think about it. The whole experience really made me feel emotional which is rar… moree for me when it comes to video games. It gave me inspiration to practice writing my own story that I'm still working on.
Its actually changed my whole family! I'd sit in the living room and play it while my family watches. My father HATES video games, a bit of a … moretechnophobe and views it as a 'stupid distraction', but after he watched me play through the first season; he was in shock (mostly because of the swearing). He truly loved it. It changed his views on video games completely, he awaits the next episode that I'll play when it releases.
How this game affected me? I am checking these forums every day to find out if the next episode is coming out anytime soon. That leads to the conclusion that the game, in fact, really did have a huge effect on my life.
Okay, I admit: I'm only 19 going on 20, but this game makes me want to have a daughter and raise her to be like Clementine, THERE I SAID IT. Also, since the first day I started playing it, it's been on my mind literally every single day.

This game always cheers me up, even the really sad parts. If I feel depressed I can always play some TWD and get over it. Also can't wait for the new episode.
Well first of all I got my dog to bite me so I could feel Lee's pain,no I'm kidding but on a serious note this was my first time crying because of a game,it just pulled me in to the world more than the comics and show could,I felt as if I was really there as if what I chose really meant something;it was a fantastic experience overall is what I'm really trying to say.I have to admit I wasn't really a fan of The Walking Dead until I played through the game,it was actually what motivated me to read the comics and I am glad I did, although I still feel that the comics and show are nowhere near as emotionally powerful as the game, however that is just my opinion and it could also be because it is interactive.
I know it may sound dumb to some because i know, it's only a game. But I've felt more connected to this game than any other that I've played in my life. Even though I'm only the player, I've felt somewhat entitled to ensure clementine's safety, especially being Lee. I can understand what Lee has gone through, not the whole murder thing, but being cheated on then left alone with my ex's daughter from a previous relationship, whom she wanted nothing to do with at all. So i decided to take care of her. Not that it's completely related, but you get the point. This game has made me smile, cry, laugh, even feel a little scared at times, i don't know how Telltale did it, but I must say they made, in my opinion, the greatest game ever. And i sure hope they keep at it for a long time (:
before this i was playing cod mw and bo when i watched ep 1 and 2 on youtube i bought it myself.when i finished it i cried like a little girl for 10 mins.this game is dramatic, beautiful, brutal and choices matter.i never experienced something like this.
Really changed my perspective on a zombie apocalypse, at first you'd think it'd be all fun and games but it really isn't. They shit you would see and would have to do to survive.

My close colleague is a Gaming Technology Teacher, and she says that most games have the ability to teach you something, for those who are willing to listen to them. In the Walking Dead game released by Telltale games, has the ability to teach survival skills and how to become a more mature person, like you creating a bond with Clementine. It taught me to be protective, while retaining my humanity, or else you turn into something like Kenny or Lilly.
Fanfictions.Just,fanfictions.And fanart. And,basically, every word that has the word "fan" in it.Okay, but,to be serious...I LOVE their games. They make me THINK,something not many games make me do.And they are original, unique, special.I can actually CHOOSE what i do.I can choose to piss Lilly off,to be nice towards Bufkin,to NOT take shit from the car,to go to Lawrence's first.I learned to think before making a choice, because that is MY story. There's always this personal tone to the TTG games, and,if TellTale Games would be a drug,i would be addicted. And you know what?I'm gonna support them always.
I played games like fantasy, horror, gun games even some science-fiction. What I enjoy most from games is storylines and the characters. Theses two elements introduce me to this series and to telltale (I haven't play any of their games till walking dead series 1). The characters are really well written, you get mix reactions from them, one min you like them, the next you hate them. They turn your views on them backwards. I've never play a series of games where I doubt my every move - ok maybe we should go here first, oh so that happens what will happen when I do this? those people are dead because of me etc. then a character dose something bad, really bad but as things turn out if he/she didn't then this would have happen, nice job game!
I haven't played a game where a character has gotten more emotions from me, me the player. The last character that did that to me was Alma Wade from the F.E.A.R series (if you played the series you would know what I mean). A psychopath that is on a revenge path, then you get flashbacks of what happened to her, your scared of her and feel sorry for her at the same time, and at the end of the game, you hate humanity. I am just using this series as an example.
Then from this series almost all the characters are like this. Nice job Tell Tale, I wish I heard about you guys sooner, thank you for creating these stories
Same here
caused i played Mass Effect a lot and The Walking Dead storyline choices reminded me of the Mass Effect trilogy choices and thats what drew me to grab the game after it became available in Australia

It was the beginning of community gaming for me. Now when new singleplayer games like The Last of Us, and Beyond Two Souls come out my friends and I all get together and play/discuss. We have a good time.

Awesome! It got me into making my own fan art.
Its the only game, movie, or show ive ever teared up over and actually cared about the characters
Yeah thankfully I got the NBA season and school to distract me I hate waiting this long
You ever ask him what he would do if he was put in that situation? Well I mean any of the situations that exist in TWD really.
How this game affected me? I am checking these forums every day to find out if the next episode is coming out anytime soon. That leads to the conclusion that the game, in fact, really did have a huge effect on my life.
Yeah, but he wanted me choose the options that would cause 'less drama' so I made it dramatic for him.
The game shoved a hook into my brain so I cant stop thinking of it.
Ha, nice one. Think I would kinda do the same with my dad. Mind if I ask if he was having a rough time at the end of the season?
you should its great
It made me put an ant out of it's misery once...twice...thrice...nevermind.
He didn't say much, he was pretty quiet, I think it got to him though.

Exactly, same!

This game killed my dog.
It wasn't because of a fight over a can of beans found in the trash, was it?
How di... No certainly not, I can't believe you'd even suggest such a thing.

Yeah true but this one makes you question them and make you think about

Yes exactly, that's why I said painful, you question your choices all the time.
After finishing walking dead...i was no boy anymore...i was a man...with hurt feelings
