Who do You want the "i thought you were dead" person to be?
Who do you want the person clementine says "i though you were dead" to be? for me it's Kenny. he was favorite character besides clementine in season 1, as i sided with him in most things bar Larry's death.

Lilly cos she's smart and was right about the traitor the whole time. With Kenny you have to pretty much kiss his ass through the whole game in order for him to like you. Don't even get me started on boats! If Kenny is alive in Ep. 2 and he starts harping on about boats, Clementine needs to be able to say "I know where this is going"
i do agree about with what you said about Kenny and when your not nice to him he can be a dick, but i just liked him for some reason, and yer i like Lily as well but hated it when she shot Carley for me

At this point, she's the only character I trust to look after Clem.
I was in the middle of Kenny and Lilly and didn't choose a side,so Christa is my favourite
I want it to be Adam, because out of everyone it could possibly be, he would be the most interesting, by far. I do think Kenny's alive, but I just think it would too soon to bring him back already. I think we'll see Kenny in either the middle of EP. 4 or near the end of EP. 5. Besides, TTG likes to be unpredictable. It would just be too obvious for it to be Christa, Lilly, or Kenny.

Lilly. I like Kenny just fine, but I honestly would have preferred it if he never came back just because his final scenes in the first season completed his story just fine (although I take issue with the writing in the Ben ending), and it's hard to believe he would survive either situation, if indeed he did survive. On the other hand, there is much potential with Lilly now that she's not the Lilly from the comic, and she's always been an interesting character in her own right.

I'm fine with anyone as it will be awesome to see a familiar face from season 1 and how Clementine will react. But I hope it's Kenny...
How does that make any sense, Rebecca and Lilly have never spoken to each other. Oh and Rebecca had like three lines in Episode 1 so don't go judging her just yet. Kenny all the way? Pfft says Kenny...

Everyone is over thinking this "I thought you were dead" thing. Some people are going to be really disappointed.
i think it would be too soon to bring kenny back aswell, but i don't want it to be Adam because i believe it would be a let down if it wasn't somebody we knew and interacted with in season 1. just my opinion
I read an interesting comment on some random website. Maybe it's that girl that shot Omid. We saw her get gut shot by Christa but maybe she crawled off somewhere after the cut to black. The chances are slim but I think she would be a really interesting foil for Clementine, and she's definitely someone Clem thought was dead.

For the best storyline outcome and drama I dont think TT would pick someone who is a friend but more likely a foe. If you listen to the music when clem says "I thought you were dead" it hits a dreaded tone of uncertainty. Also note that it does not seem like Clem was told Kenny died. Kenny and Lilly's death are both opened ended and can be questioned if they did actually die or survive.
Its a crazy thought but I think it may just be the black girl that shot Omid at the start of the episode. Its not depicted clear but it is possible she was just shot in the hip and fell to the ground passed out. This I think would be the best outcome to make the story more interesting. The notion of a friend coming back is just too safe. A threat escalates the story further while a friendly face should only appear in the zenith of 'eucatastrophe' when the character needs them the most.

After Christa gut shot her, she pretty much died, at least by the look of it.
And I think they shot Omid in the head to prevent him from coming back as a walker, aswell as Michelle. I can't see Clem or Christa leave a dying girl to turn.
But even if they did, who would have saved her? Without any professional help, e.g. a paramedic, she would have died anyway. A shot like that and you are gone.
I think she only existed to shoot Omid.
it'd be cool if it was a determinant character that was thought to be "dead", as in if you got the christa scene with kenny he'd be alive, whereas the ben scene it'd be lilly or something with that type of idea
Well, I think Clem believes Kenny to be dead. At least more than Lilly.
In this nearly two years, Christa MUST have told her what happened to Kenny. Clem couldn't possibly NOT have asked or at least thought about it.
Kenny isn't with the group anymore. What would you think? I would believe him to be dead.
And Christa thought he died, too. In both scenarios. She would have told Clem that Kenny died.
As far as we know kenny's death is too open ended for even Christa to write him off. The scene I have had from choices had Kenny save Christa by boosting her up out of a place filled with walkers then running off screen with the sound of struggling. After this happening Christa even says "maybe he's not" after you choose to tell her shes dead as lee. Theres also the other scene where kenny tries to save Ben and Lee has the choice to say "maybe he got away".
We cant assume Christa told Clem that Kenny died since there is no proof that he died. Both instances of his possible death are in question. That's pretty shallow and with no hope if she told Clem that Kenny died but I doubt she'd bluntly say he died with no visual proof and still having hope at the scene of his possible demise.
Maybe Christa is a hypocrite about his death But in both scenarios she had hope that he didn't die if you actually remembered the scene:
In the house scenario, it doesn't sound like she means it.
She just says it so Lee doesn't feel so bad about Kenny's demise, but tbh she also thinks he didn't make it.
When Lee confronts her with: 'He went down there for you!', she says: 'I know he did' with a sad look on her face.
In the alley scenario, Lee has the option to say: 'Maybe he got away'
However, this is only hoping, too. He never sees Kenny get away nor die, but what I'm basically saying is that both of them don't have an actual reason in both scenarios to think that he somehow made it out alive.
I know they can't be sure, but if I would be there and see the situation, with all hope I couldn't see Kenny survive.
I think he made it out, but Christa, a character in the game, really shouldn't be positive about his fate.
What would she have told Clem?
'I THINK Kenny died? I GUESS Kenny is still alive?'

I want it to be Kenny, possibly as a villain. I also wouldn't mind Lilly. Anyone else is a disappointment.
That's my take on it. I thought they were two of the more in-depth members of the group, but Kenny's already had a more complete character arc in how it ended.
That's a lot of supposn' you're doing there. Maybe she crawled off to heal up under a house somewhere like a cat. And it seemed to me that she completely ceased to exist to Chirista after she murdered her. Is not quite dead really such a stretch? We're likely to find out what happened to Christas baby in the third episode (with Clementine dealing with another pregnant woman) and maybe that's not the only thing from her past that'll come back to haunt her.
Omid was shot with Clementines gun; I think this would be a good way to address that guilt. Though they could always do the completely obvious thing and just give us Christa.
I WANT it to be Kenny. However, I'd be okay with Lilly, since she's also a major Season 1 character. anyone else would really disappoint me.
