When I finally bought season 1 the series was already finished so I just barreled through the episodes but now im on season 2 and the wait is excruciatingly painful
Telltale posted on site episode 2 would be ready feb4 for PlayStation and Feb 5 for Xbox 360 now within a day of posting it changes really all the money put in
This game it changes the date again

Don't trust wikipedia for dates unless it's backed up by a source that has a direct quote from a Telltale employee. The same goes for any other wiki, like the Walking Dead Wiki, since anyone can edit wikis. The only release dates that are official are those that come from Telltale employees either on these forums, on Telltale's blog, on Telltale's twitter, or in interviews with big gaming sites like IGN or Game Informer (and only trust these big sites when the dates are backed up with quotes from Telltale employees, since they have a tendency to put up placeholder dates to fill up their game databases).
i saw TWD S2 on wikipedia and it says that it will be released the 9th of this month... idk if it's real but i'm excited either way!
EDIT: … morenow it just says february sorry for my mistake :P
EDIT 2: now it says TBA guess we have to wait more again
I recall a Telltale Facebook post where they mentioned Episode 2 is coming out in the middle of February to coincide with the comics and TV show returning. My money is on it coming out around the 10th-20th.

Telltale Games and their cryptic messages. It's starting to get old.
@puzzlebox Is it really that difficult to say whether A House Divided will release this month, or not?

I like to give an episode at least two separate playthroughs before passing judgement. I'm still uneasy about the new cast, but we'll see how they evolve over the course of the season.
Na these fools think its gona be fast or soon. It will be March earliest you all need to open your eyes and think.... and March to me is not "close" we have been waiting so long..........................................................
Is it really that difficult to say whether A House Divided will release this month, or not?
Well of course it is. Episodic schedule, yadda yadda yadda, unforeseen circumstances etc..
Telltale makes the mistake to say "it looks like ..." and people start to begin their sentences with "Telltale promised..." immediately.
It's looking very good for a February release, I think they've made that clear. But until Sony & Microsoft have spoken the final word, nothing is, in fact, final.

This is good. It shows Telltale are interacting with fans more like other game developers do. They wouldn't give us hints like this if it was far away, it'd be worse than staying radio silent like they were
Fredde your right. Telltale really needs to stop with their cryptic messages.
@puzzlebox You played the second Episode of Season 2. Why are you always teasing us?

Obviously you're not very familiar with Telltale Games.
If they give us a soon, we can expect more than one month of waiting. A good example of this is back in October last year when they gave us a very soon for Season Two. Apparently for them very soon is two months... Usually very soon is two or three days in reality.
And now they gave us around the corner. God knows what that means in Telltale's schedule. Just an example why I'm fed up with their cryptic messages and secrecy. I'm not whining, I'm just up and smelling the coffee. In other words, I see what's going on.

Dawg, look at my join date. I'm familiar with Telltale. I'm saying this is more interaction with fans than they usually give, first the Facebook slide and now the tweet, they're more open this week than they were. They could just say one or the other but two posts in one week is different. That in conjunction with the TV series coming back soon

Anyone here who was actually AROUND for TWD Season 1's release?
So yeah, this game has been a test to see how telltle operates as a gaming company, first impressions are huge and thus far I have a bitter taste.
After the first season, I expected delays and dont even mind them, but the lack of information provided to the paying customers on thier own community site is absolutely discouraging and borderline insulting. Im not here to play the forum game of whiners vs trolls but, on the off chance Telltale actually reads any of this, they are losing clientelle. If service was up to par, I would have been interested in purchasing the entire telltale games collection but, not now. Youve spoiled your chance at cash from me and I wonder....how many others?
Great game, terrible customer service.

Who said one have to be a forum member to follow Telltale Games?
I joined this community when we were approaching Season Two in September. Before that I was following Telltale on Twitter, and Facebook.
The problem here, and it really is quite amazing, is that Telltale can say that it "is right around the corner" but for those who were on the forums for season 1 will remember, Telltales word is absolute garbage. Even when they rarely say something it usually is the most general thing so that "everyone wins." Expect next week for Telltale to tweet "Episode 2 will be released eventually on a day ending in y"
As Ive said before telltale is absolutely terrible. I really wish another company would handle this great game.

If they were treating the customers in an incompetent manner and releasing crappy games then maybe you'd have a point. But they're releasing gold when they, you know, get round to releasing it. They just need better methods for dealing with the customers.

On time? Relatively speaking.

As long as it is not registrated here it will not be released:
http://www.classification.gov.au/Pages/Results.aspx?q=walking+dead+season+2&t=lfc
Look at Episode 1 - date 4/12/13 - released - 17/12/13
WAU Epsiode 2 - date of approval 09/01/14 !!! - released Yesterday
I think when the australien classification is done it will took another 2 or 3 weeks to release.

I believe it's this month, but if it isn't, fine, you can brag to me all you want, I'll just deal with shit as it comes.
