When I first meet Sarah the fact that she was too happy to meet Clem, make me not trust her, that saying, the fact that Carlos say "cease to function", and that Sarah was different then Clem, even throu she doesn't realise it, put a different spin on it all together. I think what he was saying is Sarah had a mental disorder. Now do I think that Carlos was right to leave her in the dark about the zombies? No not at all, I think she should be told but not everything at once, over some time, if she was told everything at once she might panic and do something.
This is a time bomb I agree....whatever is going to happen isn't going to have a happy ending. Maybe Carlos will die and Clem tags up with Sarah and shows her how to survive, like Lee told her. Maybe Sarah dies and we see Carlos changing his personality before us, then comes after Clem. But I think the friendship propose is going to have a big play what happens next.
I think that Sarah is basically Duck for Season 2. Something bad is going to happen to her since she's 'different' in some way and she won't know how to handle the new world if she doesn't grow up. I hated that I had to pinky swear to be friends but I thought if I didn't then I wouldn't have been able to get the peroxide. I have a feeling that maybe she's going to watch her father die trying to protect her and she'll shut down.

OnT: I think Sarah will stay with us a while longer, I mean, if TTG wants to kill her of they can of course, they did it with Duck so why not, but it seems like Clem and Carlos will have a talk about Lee and Carlos will say that he did a bad job raising Clem and that Sarah has been thrived, later either Sarah or Carlos will be killed, or you have the option to save one of them.
Maybe he does, you know? He may not always be around, but you gotta consider the fact that there may be a valid reason for her acting the way … moreshe is. If she is in fact 15 and still acting like a little kid, then it's highly possible she was sheltered (or handicapped, if telltale chooses to go that route) enough for Carlos to be right in thinking she would 'cease to function'. One can never know. Of course, it might be possible that he really is an idiot ("A bite like that, could be anything." - What the hell was this bullshit, Mr. Trained Doctor?) and we'll have to knock some sense into him at some point, but we haven't seen much of dialogue with the group yet, so I don't think we should jump to conclusions.

I kinda felt sorry for her in an irritated way, irritated because of her pushyness and obliviousness to the fact Clem was currently bleeding on her floor. I could see she was naive but I never got the idea she was retarded, even though her eyes were gorked. She actually reminded me of Norman Bates, which put me on my guard, then I figured she was just really immature and over protected. I felt sorry for her because her Dad was a dick, and when she did the "we're friends thing" I thought yep she's walker bait. I warned her about the friendship thing, then did it just to get her off my back because I was expecting Carlos to walk in any minute and didn't want Clem to have to do something to Fuck up the situation more than it was, maybe by putting a claw hammer through the girls dad's head in front of her if he flipped out.
By this point I had no reason to trust anyone except maybe Pete and Luke.
I figure something messed up will happen because of it but I warned her, however till I see a reason otherwise, I'll try and keep her safe and wise her up in spite of her Dad. Kid may be gorked but she was the only one who actually didn't leave Clem to die of hypothermia or infection in a fucking toolshed.
My Clem pays her debts, I did my best as Lee to teach her how to survive, and I'm trying to keep her honorable in a world that's filled with unspeakable shit. She knows you stick by your friends and do what you can for the group. She also knows when you have to risk all to gain, and when to make the hard decision (hopefully the right one, but everything revolves around staying alive)
I'm dreading how far she'll have to go to stay alive though.
Whatever happens with the Sarah situation though, Clem isn't risking her life for her for a bottle of peroxide. Or a juice bottle. She's loyal, but you have to earn loyalty, and trust, which is obviously in short supply where the Cabin Group is concerned.
So far none of them except Pete and Luke have given me any reason to risk Clem's safety.
Not to the exent of Clementine as Sarah is 15 and you woudn't care for her as much as Clementine, but she could have a role in something that involves her dad.
@pride - ye but you have too remember it's pretty obvious his daughter has..... issues..... medical ones, she needs protecting. If he was too die, he probably has at-least one close friend in the group who he would trust too look after her after he passed. If he dies, Sarah pretty much dies as well. Does he not think of that?
I really hope Clem has the chance to have that talk with Carlos eventually. Take Chuck's role in breaking it to him, and then Lee's role in teaching Sarah how to survive. Since Sarah wants to be Clem's friend, she might take it easier if Clem's the one to help her cope with the world.
