And the fact that they know from experience that fans will bug the hell out of Sony and Microsoft if Telltale confirms that the game is currently in the approval process is what forces them to use all this cryptic language.
And I would hope that people have the maturity to try and avoid being angry and irrational, regardless whether or not they're in a position of power. Instead, I constantly see impatience being used as an excuse for rude, childish, and even hostile attitudes and behaviors towards other members as well as towards the Telltale staff themselves. Impatience is a personality problem. And it's something you need to deal with. It's not up to the people around you to get out of the way of your tantrums, it's your responsibility as a decent human being not to have them in the first place. <<all those "you"s are universal, btw. If you want to read into that it is "We have no clue when this game is coming out"

I would be happy if they just confirmed it was coming out in February. I realize asking Telltale for anything is already a stretch but seriously they obviously have a "window" to when they are planning to release the game. Even if it is a wide and very general window. I just don't understand what Telltale is gaining but telling us nothing definitive.

Sorry Puzzlebox, no offense intended at all but that is a load of BS. As I said in my above post, there is no way there is not SOME form of window, whether it be 2 months or next week. In my opinion, ANY concrete news at this point would suffice. Even confirming it will be coming out in February.

They'll probably release a trailer when the episode is approved by Microsoft/Sony/Valve, which could take up to 10 more days depending on when they submitted it for approval.
Though, they might release a trailer with a 'coming soon' in place of a release date, which I'd be fine with.

The "not too much longer" was probably meant for the teaser images. They come out pretty early, wish I could say the same about the game.
