  • I love them both equally.

    I love the characters.

    I love the storyies.

    I love the emotions.

    I love everything in both games.

    I hate you for trying to make me choose.

    Right now TLOU has my heart on lockdown with their release of Left Behind. Honestly whichever one I like more only stems from which one I have most recently played, because they are both so fucking fantastic!

  • I thought we were joking, although the guy who started it might have other ideas.

    What happend to the no console war rule? I liked the old forums were you could have an opinion without getting hated on.

  • You're right. I'm sorry. But these days, everyone gets hated on for having an opinion on the internet.

  • Bashing on the ps3 community isn't joking. I'm going to say it out the ps3 forums are way better, people are actually nice. Telltale forums used to also to be like this but now you can't post without 5 people posting gifs just trying to get likes?

  • I enjoyed both while playing them, in terms of Game Play it goes to TLOU, but when I finished it, i finished it, TWD has been like a thorn in my brain since I started playing it, not many days go by where I dont hink of it in some respect. So for me TWD is far far superior.

  • Agree viva think I started a war better sit this one out

  • Don't have a PS, can't play TLOU, but from what I saw they are pretty balanced and the game play is kind off different, I'm not oging to vote because I didn't play (as I said) TLOU so I only have insight information on TWD but I think both are awesome games!!

  • lol promise wasn't my intention my two favorite games trying get honest opinions what a fool i was but yes i want smores and I love the dark knight reference nice

  • Each have their own place for me ...because walking dead is good at its place and the last of us is good at its place thats it

  • Okay, CoD and Tales of Monkey Island are both PC games, so that means they can be compared yeah? The Last of Us is an third person action shooter and the walking dead game is an interactive narrative with QTEs. Totally different.

    Both ps3 games so on that format fair question and COD never i hate that never use that as an example shooting people for no reason with no st

    Walking dead for me :) TLOU had a great storyline and all but it didn't really bought me into years as TWD did

  • Nah, I'm just here because I like to have discussions, It still wasn't a good idea to make this thread... but I suppose it's too late now.

  • I don't think you can compare the two games, because the only things they have in common are zombies and a young girl. Both are great games.

    This is like comparing triple chocolate cake to triple chocolate ice cream; it's not possible.

    Both great games with their own particular strengths. Stop comparing them competitively, it's grade school silly.

    I'd say they're equal overall, while The Last Of Us has actual gameplay rather than being an interactive movie. The Walking Dead, however, does make you feel like you have more of an impact and you play a role in what happens. I enjoy a great deal of the soundtrack from TLOU, but personally the only track I really remember from TWD is Clementine's theme.

    Story = Draw

    Gameplay = TLOU

    Impact/Involvement = TWD

    Soundtrack = TLOU (TWD is close, though)

    Graphics = TLOU (though not exactly the most important factor)

    Replay Value = Draw

    Immersion = Draw

    I'd say The Last Of Us is the better game but that doesn't make it better in every aspect.

    Though this is a Walking Dead forum so I'll just get hounded by people who are more loyal to TWD.

  • Thank you for a honest opinion

  • true ohyoupokedme but rather honest opinions about the thread discussion rather then trolls bumping up the thread

    Well it's going to get bumped up by SOMEONE.

  • You're treading on mighty thin ice saying those things on a TWD forum... but I agree with most everything yousaid.

  • impossible to answer, both made me feel like i couldn't possible imagine over a game. Both have a father figure to a little girl. TLOU has film like cutscenes and oscar winning voice acting. TWD lets you design the story the way you want whether you want to bring clem up to be truthful and honest or to be lying and evil. Both have game of the year awards so you cannot decide between the two.

    lol

  • I don't really think they can be compared just like that, they're two entirely different types of games. True, both of them have a very well thought out and detailed plot but while Walking Dead is heavily story driven and the main point is to discover (and "write") the story, The Last of Us is more of a survival, action based game. There's actual gameplay, you don't have the chance to choose your character's answers, personality, everything of that aspect is given and set out.
    Both are great games but there can't really be a debate between which one is better due to their obvious difference in gameplay.

  • I likey... good reasons :)

  • Do you need to add a meme/gif to every post you make? I know you're trying to farm likes but some day people will get tired of it. And I'm going to say I have nothing against you it's just annoying. Kbye

  • Though I know where you are coming from and you have a point I don't see why you should be bothered by the decisions someone else decides to make, If you don't like it then just downvote it and move on if its gonna make you feel better

  • So what are you doing here, Jake? Walking Dead isn't adequately sophisticated and exclusive for you. Go back to snobbystation forum then. You're offending Telltale Games, man. They are small company but look what they've achieved. GOTY 2012. I wouldn't mock last od us on it's forum. It wouldn't be fair. For some reason people are treating you nice here. Well, I'm the true TWD and TTG supporter.
