I truly doubt that. Luke shows no signs of having a personal connection with Carver, even in the kitchen conversation.

Carver will tell Luke the truth after they've had an epic machete duel, and Luke loses his hand.
Obvious Star Wars joke is obvious, but by the Force I had to join in.
Unless Luke really is working for Carver and lying all along but that would be boarder line cliché. Would make an awesome achieve when you find out though but that outcome would never happen though.
