I'd say they start a new one. It makes sense. And anyway, this thread has got too big.

  • Yeah this thread would be a mess with 200+ pages

  • I just hope the next episodes don't take as long as this one has. Otherwise we are in for another fucking long thread and more complaining.

I can't believe this @TelltaleMike guy. He insist, and keep saying episodes will be available to download four to six weeks apart in the support section when he know this is all baloney. He's lying in front of his customers. Does he realize that it will reach two point five months before we get Episode Two? That is 11 weeks... He should say episodes will be available to download four to six months apart instead. And what really disgusts me is how he repeats himself all the time when he don't know what to answer when he is questioned. He avoids the question, and sends us to Twitter, or Facebook to look for news.

  • Sometimes i get the feeling he just copypastes a bunch of stuff he has written in some manual of how to deal with some of the game's issues.

  • VI får se. Om man har väntat i två och en halv månad för bara en och en halv timmes gameplay så blir det inte kul.

Someone need to bring the accurate information to the customers. But I guess if I were to create a thread in the support forum, explaining what Telltale's concept of time really is, it'll probably get deleted as quick as it takes for me to write it.

  • Sir, you just made the perfect interpretation, take my like you win.

Telltale is like the caring mother that came to pick you up from your friend's house, and then starts talking to their mom for ten minutes. Yo

Hey guys;) listen, we all know that the episode will be realised on early march, so it does't make sense to continue talking about the realise date. What about "I tought you were dead"? I think it's Kenny (and I hope so) but I'm not sure D: could it be Lilly?

I suppose making a game of the year is very unprofessional eh?

That's not to say that telltale are not bad at time management and releasing. telltale are STILL bad at time management and releasing.

However, they didn't make a good game, they didn't make a great game, they didn't make a fantastic game. They made arguably the best game ever of the year 2012. That alone by itself buys them a million billion slips. We will always say quality over waiting time for as long as telltale continues to make game of the year caliber games.(even if they should release them faster at the same quality)

The argument of "quality over waiting time" is one I will never understand. Telltale is a business. One that acts in one of the most unprofess

After my 10th attempt of trying to reach Telltale by email, I finally got an answer regarding their release schedule. Other than apologizing, and anticipating it not happening again, they said it's currently their top priotiry to repair their episodic model, and get episodes out sooner in the future. However, I would not take their word for it. But at least finally they acknowledge their issue.

  • I'm thinking it happens as in season 1, episode 2 is the one that takes longer to come out, the other come out in 6 or 7 weeks, specially since they have dealt with TWAU problems too ;)

I just hope the next episodes don't take as long as this one has. Otherwise we are in for another fucking long thread and more complaining.

Yeah about bloody time too. Its not just Telltale that are like this, but other companies too, especially when it comes to emailing them (which of course is not always a good idea, but, in this case it worked, finally.) I've said it before, and I'll say it again, they need to seriously improve their PR department.

    Can't say - probably a new one.

  • I certainly hope its like last season. Then I think we can all be a little bit more happier.

  • Not nice, dumping on the support people who are just here to help and only to help.

If his information is 4-6 weeks, of course he's saying 4-6 weeks. I don't see anything like that in his last 25 posts though, so "all the time" is probably an exaggeration.

Also - remember The Walking Dead Season 1? Oh, wait, no, of course you wouldn't. Fact of the matter is, its start was rough as well. But the later episodes came significantly faster.

He should say episodes will be available to download four to six months apart instead.

Yeah OK, invalidate your own argument by exaggeration. Great work.

  • Yeah, that's exactly why we thought Telltale would have learnt from its mistakes. Obviously not, since the wait is even longer than it was for Starved for Help.

He's not the funniest guy in the world, but that actually looked real. You doubting that TWD can make people cry, son?

  • Damn, Telltale. At least I want "A House Divided" to be longer than "All that Remains" and much longer than "Smoke & Mirrors" - that was really ridiculous. And please, make Laura Persuco change her Twitter avatar already - her grin while trolling us with alleged "soons" and "so excited" while avoiding serious questions on the forum is mockery at its best.

  • No, I don't want it longer, I want it better. S2Ep1 was better than S1Ep1, and I want S2Ep2 to be better than S2Ep1, (probably means making it longer too since S2Ep1 is short, but not necessarily.)

Actually, I found S1E1 much better then S2E1. And that the game has to become good or better is a matter of course, why would they aim for releasing a mediocre game. Anyway, a good balance between entertainment and a decent length is highly appreciated.

Imo. A New Day was much better than All That Remains. Why? A New Day included alot of character development. All That Remains just rushed us through the scenes, and we didn't get much time to get to know the characters before they either died, or went missing. I want a long episode, with alot character development, like the drugstore, and the motel when Lee could walk between the characters, and empty all dialogue options, and perhaps do a fun little side-quest like Carley and her radio, and some puzzle solving. Heck I'd rather see more dialogues than stabbing Walkers. All That Remains began to be good when Clementine and Luke spoke at the table. Before that everything went too fast. Telltale went 101% on with shock value for All That Remains.

I'm actually constantly replaying the game including S2Ep1 , so my memory is fresh.

    Been doing that since January.

I'm going through season 1 again. Seems like a good thing to do while I wait for this damn episode to come out.
