By the looks of that image antero posted, the trailer is at least 1 minute long, but most likely a bit longer too, 1min30sec would be my guess.
I hope it won't spoil too much, i still think the preview in ep. 1 for ep 2 showed us more than enough..oh well, i guess we'll see

Editor here. My feeling is that the trailer will reveal a little bit more about Episode 2 than the previous trailer revealed about Episode 1. So if you're really worried about your game experience, you might want to sit it out. It's styled like a theatrical trailer. Personally I love watching trailers for movies and games, but to keep myself fresh I try to only watch them once or twice so I'm not freeze-framing and collecting little details.

That said I've gone to lengths to hide things I felt were especially spoilerific. So its your call :)

  • I dont know why people are blaming the developers or the staff at Telltale for the length between the episodes. No one can win can they? If they were to release the episode on time, it was too short and didnt work properly, there would be complaints. I am happy to wait to make sure that they get a product that they are happy with- and in turn the gamer is happy with.
The fact is, the 4-6 weeks that someone mentioned was an estimation. IT isnt something that we should be marking our calenders against. Its not something that should be held against Tell Tale either.

I am happy to wait for the next episode. Cant you all trust that they are trying to make sure the episodes work properly and are as dynamic as you are all accustomed to? Get out of the bitter barn and play in the hay!

-keep up the good work Tell Tale-

  • Thanks for the response! I know it may be useless to ask but are we getting the trailer at the end of the week or a little bit sooner?

So telltale told us 4-6 weeks. Sometimes things take longer.

  • Early March eh? My birthday is in early March...

  • I don't really blame them for the length between the episodes, but for the lack of information and the vague teasing. coughcough Super Soon coughcough
If they would communicate more, and maybe gave us a more realistic estimation, the outcry wouldn't have been as loud imo. I am also happy to wait for the next episode, but I really hope that the new episode will be longer than all that remains. It seemed really, really short but what do I know, I had the luxury to play Season 1 without waiting for the next episode to release!

Remember the days when we actually thought the episode would release today? Or when we thought the 18th, or the 11th, or the 4th... I think it's best that we stop doing public guesses. It seems that Telltale is delaying the episode a week as soon as we make a guess.

  • Then, since you apparently communicate with them, you could perhaps get a word on why they keep radio silence?

  • Well, judging by the post Antero made from Shaun Finney; the trailer will probably arrive tonight.

  • It seems that Telltale is delaying the episode a week as soon as we make a guess.

Seeing that you alone made about 40 guesses these last two months, that is a dangerous theory.

"No one can win can they? If they were to release the episode on time, it was too short and didnt work properly, there would be complaints"

"All that remains" wasn't much longer than "no time left" if not the same length and that was the shortest episode in season 1, so I thought "all that remains" was too short, given the length of time we had to wait for it. I am happy to wait long periods for episodes if they are longer than "all that remains".

In the tv show the first season had only 6 episodes, the second season had something like 13 episodes and the 3rd had 16. The comic's current story arc is a whopping 12 issues long because people want more walking dead and the bigger stories can't be covered in 6 issues. Season 2 looks to be gearing up to something big where characters from 400 days are expected to make appearances and a war of some kind is anticipated. For characters to be fleshed out episodes need to be longer.Though I don't expect the game to have more episodes I would expect the episodes to be as long as the longest episodes in season 1. Whe I played "starved for help" the lengthy wait felt worth it. I hope the remaining episodes will be longer than the last because episode 1 of season 2 felt too short and felt less engaging to me than the "A new day " episode from season 1 which left me looking forward to "starved for help" more than "all that remains" has left me looking forward to "a house divided".

I don't remember the trailer for All That Remains spoiler anything major, if anything at all. Telltale is very good at being secret even when it comes to trailers. Remember how we still thought Nick was Kenny by the launch trailer?

  • I would rather have anything, a trailer would be nice, a release date would be excellent, a playing dead episode is good, another screen shot, or a snarky reply by Puzzle Box or any TT staff to one of my posts are actually my favorite and make me smile from ear to ear. Anything at all is good, just not continued radio silence.
