Before Telltale's TWD I played games purely for the gameplay. I didn't care about story and thought that a game couldn't be great just because of it. That game changed my whole perspective of gaming. It is the first game to actually make me care about the characters and the first game to make me cry. Now when I play games, I get invested in the story and think a game can't be great without one. TWD will always hold a special place in my heart.
