* With the exception of Nolan's Batman trilogy, I have despised almost every superhero movie I've seen. (Avenger's and Guardians are two of … morethe worst imo)
* Ashley Williams is my favorite character in Mass Effect and Tali and Liara are my least (of characters I actually like).
* I hate dubstep, and similar genres of music where there is no treble to cover up the over blasting of super distorted bass. Literally, not figuratively, I literally get migraines when my friends play stuff like it.
* Legend of Korra is better than The Last Airbender.
* Adventure Time and Steven Universe are just terrible.
I grew up close enough to the coast that I've been able to be at it for weeks out of the years, and I don't really like the beach either. No matter which one I go to I always end up getting stung by jellyfish. I do love the ocean though, surf fishing, deep sea fishing, sailing, that sort of thing is more to my liking.
I dunno if I find the story in general better, but for me I just found the characters much more enjoyable. That and I thought Book 3 of LoK blows anything ATLA completely out of the water.
I didn't purchase the game, nor have I read any of the comic books, but what else can they fit before the comic book story line begins? I thought TWAU continues right away to Fables.
I think responsible people should have the right to a gun. We allow responsible people to drive cars as long as they can prove themselves. I don't see why the same can't apply to gun laws. When the government over here imposed heavy restrictions, plenty of law-abiding gun owners were angry at not being considered trustworthy enough. I think, that instead of choosing the easiest solution, we should try and compromise by finding a solution that is good for everyone.
I agree that getting hysterical about guns is frustrating. I think it's an easy bandwagon to jump on.
I agree fully. Equality is a two-way street when it comes to races or sexes or any other groups. The thing that gets me peeved about some feminists is how dismissive they can be when asked about men's issues. Example:
See how this statement works to undermine an opposing argument? People of any equality movement should, at the very least, be open to an opposing argument.
I to believe that racism against white people in America is indeed a very real issue. if you look at the way things are right now, and no I'… morem not saying that I am a racist against black people, but now there are things like "Black Comedy", "Black News Stations", "Black Churches", and alike.
You ask me, it almost feels that the leaders of the black movement want to bring back racial segregation and degradation but this time with White people on the receiving end.
To be clear, I AM NOT A RACIST!
But it does seem peculiar that since black people often discuss racial equality, and yet they have organizations and alike that favor their own race.
Racial equality is a two-way street!
Plus, what about the Black on White crime rates?
Every time you here about a Black man getting killed on the news, it's usually a case that involves a White guy.
But what about the White Men that have been preyed on by Black guys, why isn't that never reporte… [view original content]

Go figure, I'm getting real sick of mass shootings.
Gun owner here. Nobody is saying you can't have guns. Nobody in American politics is naïve enough to belief that total disarmament is a practical or desirable aolution.
But clearly we do need sensible gun regulations. We need universal background checks, waiting periods and federal grants for smart gun technology. We need to repeal the laws that make firearm manufacturing the only industry that's exempt from consumer safety laws. In my opinion, we do not need an assault weapon ban.
Because banning addictive substances has worked so well in the past.
You don't cure alcoholism by banning alcohol. You just form an underclass of severe alcoholics who will get their fix at any price and any hazard. By banning legitimate sources of purchase, you allow criminal enterprises free reign over the industry and give the most brutal and ruthless people an opportunity to obtain money and influence beyond their wildest dreams. Who cares if they're giving alcoholics paint thinner that will leave them blind? The pushers have a customer base that literally can't get enough.
Addicts will be forced into a pattern of illegal activity that makes it much harder to support themselves and their families. It will be harder to get help and wean off alcohol, without fear of running afoul of the law. In other words, by banning alcohol, you'd be compounding the death and misery caused by alcoholism.
I didn't purchase the game, nor have I read any of the comic books, but what else can they fit before the comic book story line begins? I thought TWAU continues right away to Fables.
The age restrictions don't do anything, why would making it completely illegal help? Besides it would just ruin more peoples lives than it already does.
I think it would be interesting if they made a law where you can only have alcohol if you had ever drank it BEFORE the law is imposed. That way, the old generation can get their sweet taste and the newer kids don't get addicted. It would be a long-lasting effect, and would be pretty hard, but I think, if done right, it could possibly work.

I thought about that. That seems to be the only thing that puts this idea to rest. All I have to say is, I'm a teen, and I will never touch a drop of alcohol in my life.
You are missing one key fact.
1.) Children, teens and young adults are rebellious and curious. The fact that they can't have would actua… morelly make it all the more appealing.
We would be much better off addressing the underlying issues behind the alcoholism, because very often there is one.
Eh, that's not a bad idea, I guess. But a lot of people are fine and responsible with alcohol.
I drink, but very moderately. A beer or a gin & tonic with with dinner is usually all I want. When I go to a bar, I order a shot of bourbon and a beer and I'm pretty much set for the evening. I've never gotten a hangover and I've only been drunk to the point of sickness once. It's just not that much fun in my opinion.
Sometimes like to have a drink at parties to loosen up a bit, but if you prefer to go without, more power to you.

Something I get really sick of, is people telling us we can't have guns.
The radio was on the bus I was going to college in this morning they were talking about gun laws in America that 12% of Americans who own guns have no background checks at all, they also have Gun shows where they sell guns to anyone who will buy them like a candy store for weapons with no background checks at all
If your going to hand out weapons like candy to anyone don't go on about hurdur why is there mass shootings every week and why are people debating the gun laws
Of course they should be debate over this AMERICANS are dying their are mass shootings every week this is no joke this needs to be fixed it will only get worse save American life's
I'm going on holiday to america in a couple of years I don't want crazy joe who just visited a gun fair to greet me with an AK 47.
People don't want to take away your guns just have better laws to stop these mass shootings and evil people getting hold of them I agree 100% and if I was American I want my country to be safer and not let weapons be so easily accessed to anyone who could kill you
I'd be more worried with cigarettes as 10% of people who take in their smoke die of cancer so there habit is killing you just by breathing in their air.
While alcohol only affects the person in terms of your health you won't die of liver failure because they drink in front of you
Get these women some real work!
....Wow ok rood men work as strippers too don't be sexist and are you implying when women work i… moret's never real work?
Can women not celebrate their bodies too?
Is that why you never said Male strippers as well as it's only real work when they are the strippers smh
My tumblr blog will hear of this

In what, fast food service? You must realize that most exotic dancers aren't exactly swimming in employment opportunities, no? It's a livelihood that puts food on the table, so why condemn it?
Just because they're men, you don't concern yourself for them? You find stripper work condition so bad that you want "these women to get some real work" yet men are no concern to you. Ya know, they're strong, they can take the objectifyisation, the dangers and the occasional innapropriate gropping but god forbid if a woman ever as to live that hell! If you're going to say you want a job banned, don't prime a group other another for the sole reason that they are not like you or that they generally have it worse (than it already is). It just discredits your opinion and could be assimilated as sexism in my humble opinion. I'm not trying to be mean, just stating my point of view so let's keep things civil for the sake of the thread. And just to be clear, I am a woman myself and also a feminist.
Now that's over with, moving on my personal view on strippers. Banning them won't solve the problem, it will make it worse. Not being legal won't cease strip clubs to exist nor will they stop people to become or go to see a stripper. Rather, the difference will lay in the strippers work condition. Illegality leads to many abuses, for example: if a creep obscesses over a stripper he/she won't go to police in fear of being punished for their activities.
So no, for me, banning is not the solution. Reforming, however, so strippers have better work conditions would be the way to go.

Korra is better than ALTA? Go home, you're drunk.
I'm certain that The Wolf Among Us is done.

I love rocks. They're my favourite vegetable.
This made my day Woodbury. Lmao.
Glad I could be of service
Believe what you shall, but.......you do realise that it has ONLY, been a bit over a year since Cry Wolf?
And eventually, it will be over five years.
I hope it's not.

Same here.
Anyone get this? No?

I think alcohol should be illegal.
Okay but what the hell is a fish wife

a wife who is good at swimming, I do believe.
TWAU is set 20 years before Fables.

Men don't concern me.
These women could find jobs that are way more lucrative than stripping.
Oh, yes. Let's close strip clubs, something that does not affect our lives at all.
Would you mind explaining how that would work? After all, prohibiting something always works sooo well, right?
And it's up to us to decide whether they should work in a strip club or not?
In what, fast food service? You must realize that most exotic dancers aren't exactly swimming in employment opportunities, no? It's a livelihood that puts food on the table, so why condemn it?
