I hated TFTB, the story has no point, all things happened cuz of 1 person (Felix), which is very very dumb. Really.

I think it's unlikely, but I'm hoping we'll get another Borderlands story from Telltale.
Gearbox only announced that they started working on and hiring people for BL3 a few months ago... which means they're likely still in the early concept stages right now. I wouldn't be surprised if it's a solid 3 years before we get BL3. That's plenty of time to squeeze another season in and ease the wait a bit.
OK, and how does that make it dumb or make you hate it? Especially when that really isn't the only reason the plot happens.
