Game not working in Windows 7?

The game is not working in Win7 build 7022. Extreme lagging... Anybody who knows a way to work around this issue?

    Install a stable OS. :D Seriously, though.

    I will install Win7 RC later this summer. Any other suggestions?

    I use the Release Candidate of Win7 -- Its the build 7100.
    There are no problems for me.
    Possible you have to use lower quality settings in option menu.

    What kind of specs do your Pc have? CPU GPU RAM

    @crasher86: changed resolution to 800x600 and quality to 2. Works now, but the quality is of course not very good... Maybe I should get another computer..

    Works fine for me on highest settings on Windows 7 RC. Also, Windows 7 works pretty well in general!

    I'm using RC too and it works perfectly well.

    Yes, Windows 7 RC (64bits) is still windows, but works pretty well for a windows. No real issue for the game except maybe one or two glitches (visible edges sometimes, lagging animation of walking guybrush — but the game is still totally smooth, it's just an animation bug).

    For me, on windows 7 rc1 (build 7100) is slower than on ubuntu with wine..

    Mine crashed too. I changed the resolution to 1280 and now it works fine :D
    To bad i had to change it because i am playing on a beamer :rolleyes:
    I love it , missed his voice and the music :cool:

    I've been using the RC on a Virtual Computer and have been impressed with it. Part of me is tempted to switch completely to that til March (obviously installing it properly) but I'm worried I won't be able to get Vista back afterwards as I only have the supplied restore disk and not the regular version of the OS.

    Ran fine in mine but had to have it windowed at 800x600 and the lowest graphical setting or it ran slow as hell!

    Good job that wasn't the PC I wanted to play on :D

    Just finshed it and it worked fine all maxed out on Windows 7 Build 7264 (X64)

    Runs fine on Windows 7.

    You might want to check your drivers. Microsoft are getting better and better at setting them all up for you, but ofc they don't always manage it.
