I'm an American, but even I think Harper blows. I hope you guys can replace him.
Sorry too young.
Unfortunately, I'm too young to vote, but if I wasn't I would vote for Trudeau. I have had enough of Harper's bullshit.
Any relation to the Trudeau who went against the Quebecois independence movement?
He is the son of Pierre Trudeau, who created the Canadian Charter of Rights and Freedoms, decriminalized homosexuality and allowed women equal rights to run for Senate.
I'm not Canadian but if I was then Wyatt Scott would have my vote.
Too young. (Looks like I'm the third one XD)
I don't even know who I would vote. Probably not Conservative though.
If I lived in his riding I would have voted for him.
I voted Liberal. I'm hoping the Liberals get the most seats but not a majority of seats. I like Trudeau, but I want other parties looking over his shoulder. Too bad there's not an option on the ballot for minority.
Really, as long as Harper doesn't get a majority again I'll be happy.
Edit: For any curious non-Canadians, John Oliver did a pretty good job summarizing the campaign. He's ridiculously biased against Harper, but I can't say I disagree.

me too
AND WE HAVE A LIBERAL MAJORITY HAALLLLLLEELLUJAAHHH!!!!!!!!
PEACE OUT HARPER YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE :D:D:D:D
I'm watching it right now. Good for Trudeau
Well, let's hope Trudeau doesn't muck it up. I'll keep my pitchforks in the barn if he mucks up big time.
I'm just slightly concerned about the immigration thing, considering people who live here already have a hard time finding jobs and having a family doctor, adding like 25 k more people would only worsen it if that situation is left the same. While understand the war in Syria is really bad and Justin's trying to help, I'd rather not have an implosion when our own problems are left unintended. Fix the problems while you bring in people, oh, and be careful if some are ISIS soldiers coming in since they're based from there, thank you
My mother is mostly worried about Trudeau because he is young but, in my opinion, I think his age benefits the country. His father was also young and Pierre did great things for Canada.
I think Justin has what it takes to be an excellent PM. He seems as though he genuinely cares about his government, unlike Harper.
Yeah, age is not a huge problem, some kids end up being smarter than a lot of adults. And, yeah, his dad did the Charter of Rights if I remember correctly.
I hope so. Too many Politians ended up being a let down from what I know, so I don't have much faith in what they say. If he does make things better, then I'd be glad of being proven wrong.
Wasn't paying attention that the John Oliver clip was already posted
Sorry double post...
In true Canadian fashion, that was quite possibly the most nice and polite way I have ever had my ass handed to me lol.
Apparently Pierre Trudeau deserves far more credit than I initially gave him (not that I had a strong stance either way, I just recognized the name from a somewhat critical essay by Hubert Aquin). I think I'll play my ignorant American card, right about - now.
Congratulations Canada, you now have the sexiest PM in the world. Gah dayum.
I'm overall glad that Trudeau won, but at the same time, a bit skeptical. Oh well... only time will tell.
Its true.

Third hottest world leader, and the hottest Prime Minister. Harper was #106 on the list. We moved up big time.
