Rhys' backstory?

So, I never saw any thread concerning Rhys' background, as in planet, his cybernetics, parents, why he chose Handsome Jack and all.

So, any ideas? Do you think we'd get to know somethings about it in possible season 2 or Borderlands 3?

Well, we've been told that his cybernetics were installed in hopes of getting further up the Hyperion corporate ladder easier.
