Why does TWD get more attention?

  • I'm sorry, but that's how I felt about the game. Maybe it's just me not liking the Borderlands franchise, but I feel that it would've been for the best if they never made Tales From The Borderlands.

horrible humor and cheesy characters. I REALLY have to disagree with you on both counts.

I get you. Comedy is very subjective. What may be funny to me may not be funny to you. And Tales for the Borderlands is a sci-fi comedy. If the jokes aren't working for you, than there is a good chance that you are not going to enjoy the ride.

  • That's just my personal preference. I'm not a big fan of humor in general, especially when it comes to playing stories in games. If a game constantly tries to be funny, then I won't like the game because I can't take it seriously.

I just feel that Telltale's work has really gotten worse since Game of Thrones ended.

But...Game of thrones JUST ended. The only game you could be talking about at this point is Minecraft. That's a pretty unfounded statement to make over a single game that obviously isn't for everyone. The sky hasn't fallen yet, chicken little.

I appreciate you not bashing my opinion like some other people have. I am excited for Game of Thrones Season 2, but I could care less for Batman or Michonne. I just feel that Telltale's work has really gotten worse since Game of Thrones ended.

  • When I say that, I include Tales From The Borderlands, so maybe any game that started around the same Game of Thrones did.

  • Oh, well we definitely differ on taste. I thought Tales from the borderlands was one of the greatest titles telltale has made so far.

Sadly, Telltale's 'The Walking Dead' series garnered more publicity and money. The Wolf Among Us, though it's better than both TWD seasons c

  • The Walking Dead is where it all started basically and S1 was way better than S2 but besides the point I feel like Telltale have just improved with Tales from the Borderlands coming in at a close second and TWAU being Number 1 (for me).

I really am hoping for at least an announcement about a second season of the Wolf Among Us. Game of Thrones was alright but I couldn't care less about a season 2 and Minecraft - don't even get me started on that shit.

Lol. I don't even know what to say about that statement.

  • Did you not know it was a comedic game before you started playing it?

  • Here's what I mean when I say that statement: Whenever I play/watch/read a story, I always make it in my mind to be real people with real families and real traits so I can take the story seriously. However, when something is made specifically for humor, I feel that it is just a cheap way to get money and not write serious and entertaining stories. I can't get into comedy like that, so I'm not a big fan of it. That's what you can say about my statement.

  • That's a very strange way to perceive it man. You must hate a lot of comedies that come out. Feels a tad bit pretentious in my eyes.

But I will admit that Tales had some narrative problems.

    Whatever, it's your opinion.
