So this has been popular lately. If you dont know the story, basically the fine bros said people were copying them and tried to trademark the term, "react". The fine bros have lost more than 2 million subs and are still dropping and lots of people are making videos about them

I don't really care. Everytime I see a video talking shit about the whole react world thing I roll my eyes. I actually unsubscribed to a channel because I wass that sick of people complaining that it's stupid.

Even though they are in the wrong it really sucks though...one video has just brought them so much negativity and pretty much destroyed their rep (for the time being). They have some of the most quality content on YouTube imo.

I hated the Fine Bros. before this. React videos are incredibly lazy excuses for videos that target for the lowest common denominator, just below the generic let's player. Think as terrible as reply girls and most vloggers. This is just testing how dumb their own fanbase is, which I am impressed, isn't as dumb as the Finebros believe.

while I know who thefinebros are - I have been a fan of their react channel for awhile (seeing teenage reacting to horror games are priceless lolz), I was never really a fan of theFineBros channel itself. I have become of out react channels however. "TheReelRejects" and "tyrone magnus", so I really don't want to see their great videos deleted because of copyrights on a word. this year I planned to start uploading videos to my account. however all this outrage and massive talk about copyright has me rethinking.
I remember a time when youtube was fun. putting videos up were optional but a lot has change since the option where you can own money through you channel. It makes you second guess what you want to upload.
They are consistently losing subscribers. I don't think I ever seen something like this happen before to a youtube channel before.
Resisting the urge to react in order to avoid a lawsuit.
I liked their old videos about urinating on girls in library, using US flag as toilet paper, producing "eggnog", beating Palin's toddler, Hermione and Harry toys banging...
Am I the only one who remembers that?

It seems that the damage wasn't that extensive to them I'm guessing.
Yes, they still bleed a lot subscribers because of what they tried to pull but when looking at rate of their videos keep getting views, there's barely a dent.
So yeah, people who are likely to unsub and pay attention to even notice that it even happened to do that, don't seem to watch them that regularly anyway.
There's a live countdown to them losing subscribers. It's great.
It's still an ongoing topic but they haven't lose 2 million Subs, with all their Channels combined they may have lost near 1 million, but not 2 million, even if you counted the amount they usually gain no longer increasing, however, most of their videos are now getting Disliked more than Liked. Although, I hope no on reacts to this news otherwise they might find you and sue you for reacting. I'm glad they didn't go through with it but that doesn't mean they won't try for it again.
