army men rts i really enjoyed that game it was an realtime strategy game with plastic soldiers it was also quite quirky for example there was a mission in the basement of a house and the enemy was ants
I enjoyed Metal Gear Solid 5 Phantom Pain though I never ever planned to play it. I played the fourth game before but never finished it beca… moreuse it was boring. MGS 5 WAS such an enjoyable game, the best MGS game, I loved the missions, characters and my favourite character is Quiet, hottest girl of the entire game. What I didn't like about it is the 10-20 minutes taker cutscenes (Always getting tired when watching them), enemies who take 30 minutes to take out and no option to have both my horse and Quiet at the same time in a mission (Very disappointing). One of the best 2015 games I have played.
All the hate is because before the release all those fake gameplay footages were making it look like a GTA killer ,but it turned out as a OK game, not as good as Ubisoft promised.

One of my favorite games that hardly anyone played is actually quite appropriate to this forum.
It's my favorite Telltale season since it adheres to the source material so closely, it really feels like playing a Wallace & Gromit cartoon. Plus, the storylines are fun, and the boss puzzles at the end are among the best Telltale has ever done. It's a shame that it was overlooked by so many gamers, and even more of a shame that it's not available anymore outside of the last remaining copies of the retail release at Amazon for PC (if you do play on PC, and you like Telltale's classic style puzzle games - pick it up! It's well worth it, and it won't be around for that price for long - it's bound to go up once it sells out).

One of the first games I've ever played. Very underrated and overlooked game. The story was awesome. If you enjoyed Red dead redemption I suspect you'll love this

Played this one a few years ago. It was an enjoyable experience. It made me sad too that it never caught on more. They could easily have done a sequel with it I think.
I think they had been intending to do one but it got shelved because of weak sales. They didn't exactly advertise the thing better enough. Like that trailer I linked is fan made, the official trailers don't really say much about the slave headband business and how Monkey is having to help Trip as a result of her putting it on him. This is a real shame because that was one of the great things about the game of those two having to work together at first, and then it actually coming to a point where Monkey didn't really need the headband, but kept it on as an excuse so he could stay with her. The core room scene was my favorites for how subtle they played that moment.
I mean god it's in the title 'enslaved' you thought they would've advertised that a little more. Ninja Theory aren't even doing that well right now, so I doubt Enslaved 2 will ever come about unless they get lucky. Although this one person did write an incredible sequel called Birthright that followed on the game that you may be interested in. they've had art drawn for their work any everything ^^ it's impressive.

what was it that you preferred to Gun, over Red Dead Redemption. the only thing that I can think of that was better in the game, as opposed to Red Dead Redemption, is the story.
Yeah, the story and because of nostalgia. Also, I kinda liked it's smaller map size and locations more. Red Dead Redemption felt too big and deserty for me.

Mobile Suit Gundam: Zeonic Front (PS2) This game was one of those rare Gundam games that was actually good, rarer still one that made it outside of Japan that was good. The game emulated what it was like to be in a German Heavy Panzer Battalion from WWII. Being the Zeons were pretty much Space Nazis. Gameplay wise it was a classic rip off of Rainbow 6, the original Rainbow 6, back when Rainbow 6 was good. But with Giant Robots... which gives it a few Thumbs up for trying. These games are often so bad and only sell well in Japan because well it's Gundam. It makes western releases rare, and "good" Gundam games in the west even rarer. This also means games like this are very very rare in english, and I'm glad I have copy of this particular one.
What I really loved about the game was the between mission periods. In which you get to read intelligence, news, and talk to members of your Battalion about current events and up coming missions. It was just wonderful watching how hopeful everyone was, victory seemed assured, but as the game went on, getting to see their moods change. When defeat became inevitable a sense of self justification and determination came out of the cast who knew what was coming but kept finding reason to push on. I still consider it one of the best war games I've ever played.
Early on, the game is hard, later in the game it is madness as the odds ever increase against you, as well as the AI even gets better hardware. It is a strategy game and they do push people to a frustrating degree. When I was younger I could handle stress on video games i dunno if I could today. lol
There is a speech part way through which just makes you think "Ya Space Nazis." But I like this video as it shows how easy the game can be if you've just practiced it well enough and know the missions very well. First time I played it though, it was utterly brutal, there were no Look it up Online type stuff at the time. lol enter link description here
PS the last mission on this game was meant to pay homage to Germany's final offensive in WWII while the USSR was distracted trying to capture Berlin. If you've ever heard the song Hearts of Iron by Sabaton well the last mission on this game is a reference to that operation.
Personally I liked the open space of RDR. The one think I didn't like is that you could make your house gallop, and he'd never drop from exhaustion. And another thing I didn't like is that when you were in a duel, you had to use all the shots in the pistol so you could win.
Yeah, the story and because of nostalgia. Also, I kinda liked it's smaller map size and locations more. Red Dead Redemption felt too big and deserty for me.
I liked Bionic Commando a lot, after getting used to the game's physics. The only real problem I had with it was the radiation, and how much it limited exploration.
A game called Lost Dimension. It's a vita/ps3 game. The combat was very simple, overly easy even. But they did something with this game that I would like to see show up in more games.
The story is you're leading a team of soldiers, all with different special abilities like pyrokenesis, teleportation etc on a mission to ascend this mysterious tower that has shown up out of no where and kill a terrorist threatening the world. What I found very cool is every set of floors you get through, you must choose one member of your team to kill, because every set of floors a member of your team will secretly turn traitor. The traitor is randomly selected by the game each time, so there's no looking up a walkthrough to see who you need to eliminate. The main character's ability is clairvoyance, and this is how you discern who the traitor is. Each time you complete a mission you will find out how many of the team you chose to take are possible traitors(there are three possible traitors each time), and it becomes a process of elimination to find the three suspects and look into their mind to see who the real traitor is. You only have a certain number of times you can look into people's minds so you really want to identify the right three first.
At the end of each floor you have to kill someone, but this is not your decision alone. It's decided by a vote of all your remaining team. There are a couple of systems working together here. After a mission people will ask you who you think the traitor is, and your answer can sway their vote. Also the more you take someone on a mission with you, the more your team will like them and the more votes they will get.
The leveling system is a cool concept too. You get skill points to upgrade, but what makes it really interesting is when you kill one of your friends you gain all their powers in the form of materia you can equip on anyone. So at the end of the game you can have a soldier who has the power to manipulate gravity, teleport and combust large areas.
The game has a lot of problems, but I really feel the need to support the idea of it even if the execution wasn't perfect.

Three big ones for me - Spongebob: Battle For Bikini Bottom, Shrek Smash N' Crash Racing and , Avatar: The Legend of Aang and Power Rangers: Super Legends, Scooby Doo! First Frights. I'll actually be descriptive when I return to Edit this Comment

Oh yeah, the water too. One wrong swing and you'd be forced to watch Spencer drown, if you couldn't latch onto to anything. I'd say the radiation kinda annoys me more because it was seemingly absent in the early builds of the game.

alpha protocol wasa fun game i just didnt like how combat worked sometimes
...How was that game not a big success...?
I thought I meant to say that I never planned on playing this game because it didn't seem interesting but when I played it, it changed my mind.
Ico, Okami and Grim Fandango spring to mind here, as well as Spec Ops: The Line as someone already mentioned.

YES!
The Sky Crawlers Innocent Aces: A game the Wii badly needed, but so few actually bought this game. T-T

Heck 'Muzzled!' is still one of my favourite Telltale episodes ever for that matter!

i always wanted shadow of rome after seeing th trailer many years ago but never found it in shops
Bully, Fear 3, The Darkness 1/2, Beyond Two Souls, Spec Ops the line,
I never pay attention to E3 gameplay and expect the game to look like it, it's unrealistic expectation.
It's not anything amazing but I found it enjoyable for what it was.
Two neo noir games that have absolutely beautiful visual, style and atmosphere to them. Both seriously underrated by mainstream gaming media
GUN! I used to play this all the time on the Gamecube. It was great. In some ways, I still like it more than Red Dead Redemption.
did bully really not do that good? i mean we all know it was totally awesome, but i thought it did good..

Before I forget about this one: Persona Q. I had so much fun playing this one, it's beyond me how anyone hated it.

Soldats inconnus/Valiant hearts.. Oh man, that game is something.
Same here. I agree about the game physics and exploration. But instead of radiation, falling into the water was my biggest problem. haha

Yeah. Maybe if there's ever a sequel, radiation won't be in it and it'll have bigger areas to explore.
I got it for 40 dollars the day it released, it's probably cheaper now if you can find it. I had to drive out to no man's land to find a copy.
