What do you do to feel better?
Whenever you've gone through an exhausting day or you're feeling down, what is something you enjoy doing that helps you relax and get through a bad day?
I've struggled quite a bit in Year 10 this year, and there have been periods where I just don't want to keep going, but I've always found that working on my stories is enough to keep me going. After a particularly bad day, finishing off a chapter of one of my fanfictions or original stories helps calm me down. It's rewarding to see the product of the work and effort you've put in, and getting positive feedback when people see that work is really uplifting.

Now that the weather's better, I am making a conscious effort to go on longer walks with my dog. I wanted to get back to riding my bike as well. I'd like to play basketball but I think I'm done playing on outside courts.

When I'm sad or bored I usually draw pictures made of mini Lenny faces... Too bad I lost all of them
If I'm stressed out I usually just chill out in my room, play games or watch youtube.
I think about things until I get more stressed out, then I can't sleep so I just think of my stories to cheer me up or imagine how things could've happened differently or better.
I sketch or sing a sad song and think of better days.
I use to drink - and it NEVER worked. Now I just do a little bud every now and again. That, and I like to bitch about the government.
I visit the forums
I watch Jersey Shore.
Watch daddy Pyro and mommy Leafy everyday
Besides the obvious ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°).
Listening to music is my biggest outlet, or dreaming about things like the world and all the places I want to go to.

Well, sometimes I prefer beating my head against the wall.

Reading my TWD Comics.
Listening to music.
I did that once. All my troubles went away, as did my ability to read Spanish.

Listening to music or stress eating usually helps.
If those don't work then playing video games, writing fanfiction, blogging on Tumblr or looking for some of that quality ass content on Youtube does.
Whats this kratom tea? And how can it replace weed? As a stoner brit I must bring these passtimes together
Edit: ok ive looked this up and its a little like a opiod it has a shared ingredient with morphine. As someone who grew up in a family full of heroine addicts I wont touch this with a barge pole, ive seen a family member admitted to hospital she had to be left in agony because painkillers weren't strong enough to do anything to her anymore she had at least 5x the dosage and was still in pain and fully conscious, i know this isnt heroine but opiates and simulation opiates are evil and a slippery slope. NOPE

I woke up feeling awful today, completly depressed my bf brought me a cup of earl grey and a cheese and ham toastie they lifted my spirits enough to make me consider getting out of bed, im going to drag myself up and play some dead or alive xtreme or borderlands 2(if bf's up to some coop action) its almost 7pm btw. I hate getting my ass pwned by depression

I'm a stressed person; the stress comes by cycles.
Basically I'm doing a kind of meditation.. Just sitting/getting in bed like for 5 minutes, thinking of the reasons of the stress, understand that it's stupid to be stressed for those reasons and go better once I found the reasons of me feeling bad.
Reading just a book also helps imo.
I'll bust out my sketch pad, listen to some music, drink a tea, or go for a walk. It's always good to take moments for yourself like that to kind of decompress and just reboot your brain.
I'm guessing it does not beat a urine test. Sounds pretty dangerous.
Either go eat, take a nap, listen to music, watch Youtube videos, play a video game, play guitar, pet my cats, practice drawing, or exercise.
Only the real potent red stuff AFAIK. I don't use that.
If you take a lot of certain kinds, it can be feel like heroin and have bad side effects., A small cup every few days makes me a bit more relaxed and charismatic.
Eh, moderation and low concentration is key. Though if you have family with addiction issues, it's probably best stay away from most drugs.
