I was fairly wary about this series mostly because the What If? episode on it was so... silly, but I actually really enjoyed this! Really fun, very bloody and gory, and finally seeing all these new characters that were introduced in the last few years actually interact in one project was great. Yeah it's still got some of that silliness from What If?, but I find it better balanced here than in the original episode. Kamala Khan is the main character of the series and she is an absolute standout. They get pretty creative with her powers in this and it's just entertaining to see such a kid friendly character brutally tearing apart zombies. Speaking of brutal, hot damn there are some nasty kills in this with certain moments getting on the level of Invincible. I also really like that the show isn't afraid of being absolutely grim. Don't expect everyone to make it out okay or even get anywhere close to a ceremonious death. Things get pretty bleak at times.
I of course have some criticisms. While most of the voice acting is honestly pretty good, Florence Pugh is unfortunately very wooden in this. She sounds very low energy and stiff, which is a stark contrast to David Harbour giving it his all as Red Guardian. Zemo's voice in this is just not it man, it's a really poor imitation of Daniel Brühl. The emotional moments in the series are also pretty weak unfortunately. None of them really hit at all and just come of as forced.
Overall, I had a pretty good time with this and wouldn't mind a second season, though if this is all we get I'd be pretty satisfied.

I pulled the trigger and watched Venom: The Last Dance.
Well... it's better than Let There Be Carnage.
I watched Marvel Zombies.
