  • Took me 2 tries at 30 years old. Yeah, I waited that long.

I don't know what a closed junction is though. We must use a different term. Image search shows a 3 way, T intersection.

  • I already figured that out ages ago. Sorry!

    we read it backwards.

Wait, huh? How do Americans write down their dates? For me it has always been DD/MM/YYYY, but I suppose that for the majority of the forum it could be YYYY/MM/DD, like you said. Unless you referred to something else as "backwards" and I don't understand a thing.

And he would be thirty, since from 1986 to 2016 there are thirty years.

Or you know, we read it backwards. 86 stands for 1986 07 stands for the month July. 29 is the day. 1986 July 29th is the day of birth. Therefore he is 27 years old. Another case cracked, by Detective Rabbit. I take tips.

It's YYYY/MM/DD over here, so it is backwards for me. I'm not American though.

Hey shush man math is hard. Wouldn't he be 29 then though? Since his birthday is only next month.

  • Oh, where are you from? If you don't mind publishing that information in the middle of a forum being read by thousands of unregistered people. That sounds creepy.

    Touché.

  • Ohhh, so that whole thing about using the alphabet to work out his age was sarcasm? I really had no idea...

You didn't get the overdone sarcasm in our comments…?

  • Why did you act like you didn't notice the sarcasm by saying that we were overthinking? To me, and I honestly expect that others, that sounds like you legitimately thought we were being serious and then proceeded to correct us. Such as in the case that you didn't notice the sarcasm until later and decided to come back at me with a snarky—and sarcastic—comment. That's the impression I got.

  • only 4? hehe

Damn I feel old, passed my test 4 years ago

  • Sorry, didn't mean to come across as snarky.

I didn't expect anyone to think I was being serious about him being 290786 or that the best way to work out his age was by looking up baby names. You talked about using the alphabet to work out his age (I thought you were playing along), so I jokingly criticised you for overcomplicating it and then offered an equally overcomplicated way to try and work it out. I thought you'd know that I was joking when literally everyone in this thread would be able to work out that there's a date in his name almost instantly.

  • You stretched so far to make those puns work. Gawd it hurts.

Well Dan, ya done Kenny'd-it. Next time, B-Lee-ve in yourself more. Or, try Jane-ting in your head. You could also go far by Troy-l and error. I think my awful puns are re-Lilly getting worse. Oh Well... ington.

  • Would you say I Ben-t the puns 'till they pleased my inner C-Omid-ian?

  • Better luck next time. I failed two times. The first because I made weird mistakes. The second because I was nervous as heck.

I passed my third, because I just focused on driving safe and stopped being so nervous.

  • Our driving laws in Australia are totalitarian compared to yours lol.

I failed the first time. I was already on the way back. Everything was good until then. Then I came to the last junction before the finish. Because, unfortunately, was one of the parked wrong is he should not be. I have several times looked left and right. Nevertheless, I have overlooked a car and the driving instructor has intervened.
    The second time I passed.

  • Thanks all for the replies :)

  • Some of us past that age a lot longer than four years ago.
