Okay, so I know that Rebels can get a lot of heat, but uh, I enjoy it, as I enjoyed the Clone Wars and movies.
The new Season 3 trailer released, and those who liked the old Legends continuity, like I did, may recognize someone in the trailer. I don't want to spoil it, but, yeah, very cool.

Me gusta it will be awesome, dark saber, Kanan's fancy beard more of Dark Maul and Erza falling to dark side...can't wait!
Hey @GOUSTTTT, I think you would enjoy this trailer
Yeah. I enjoyed Darth Maul in the bit he was in last season, and I don't mind more of him.
Looks great, really impressed at how this series has grown.
i do like this series, not as much as the clone wars but its still really entaining
Thrawn......... mother of gaia.. the rebel's are doomed. Unless they turn him into a stereotypical pathetic piece of trash villain then it will ruin the entire character. He was a brilliant strategist unequaled by any within and outside the Empire.
FINALLY A TRAILER! I can't wait for it to premiere, it looks really hype!
THE Grand Admiral Thrawn.
While for Sith many people are mere pawns he has actually impressed Sidious as almost equal.
Depending of how much they retain his backstory of course.
I hope so. He is the only none human to hold a rank as high as his in the entire Star Wars universe within the Galactic Empire. Just because how good he is. I wouldn't be surprised he only made it into this season because he is such a fan favorite Imperial character from the expanded universe. Being Disney wiped that from the Earth, it's likely an attempt to bring him to life for real in the "New" Star Wars universe. hehe
Honestly. Thrawn has been the Imperial Officer that the Star Wars universe has always needed. You need a good antagonist, Thrawn technically wasn't a villain in the same context that say Darth Vadar or the Sith are. He is a professional military man, who cared about soldiers and officers under his command, unlike Vadar who threw them away. I really REALLY hope Thrawn is done right. The Empire has always needed a human face, people who didn't fight for the Empire out of Greed or Fear. If I recall Thrawn cared about peace in the Galaxy, wanted it, but he believed it was impossible without a paramilitary force under control, as the Galaxy was too huge for a democracy in his eyes.
