What do you think about people that waste electricity?

Reducing consumption without reducing use is a costly delusion. If undeveloped countries consumed at the same rate as the US, four complete planets the size of the Earth would be required. People who think that they have a right to such a life are quite mistaken.
I guess that makes me a bad person because I like wasting electricity.

My brother always leaves his PC or at least a monitor screen on when he goes to sleep and light on when he goes outside. So annoying.

Seriously though, I'm glad I was raised to conserve electricity and it should be something that everyone should practice.
It's there money. If they want to piss it away, that's their problem. The only person I have to worry about is myself.
I think it's not only an american problem. We always seek solutions to produce more electricity. Maybe instead of this, trying to reduce our consumptions is the solution.
It must be done from a private POV and also from a state POV.
Yet you'll always find an asshole saying: "my personal actions won't change anything, so why should I do it?"
My wife was raised in a home where they kept lights on in empty rooms. She gets annoyed at me when I keep turning them out. Sorry, that's the way I am. At least with CF and LED bulbs, they don't waste as much energy as they used to.
