They don't want to disappoint fans by saying no so as of now they just say those sneaky comments to give people hope, and when people find out it doesn't happen they're gonna be like "we technically never said there was a season 2."

Telltale obviously knows Wolf Among Us is one of the most demanded projects for them to work on and i'm nearly positive at some point they will in some form make a Wolf Among Us S2. I wouldn't expect it this year since telltale already has 3-4 projects in the works.
