Well, yeah.. I downplayed the San Diego situation with my comment. Sure there was chaos and all (didn't remember the military-escort tho, thanks for that).. but I still think a living T-Rex running amok in a major city like San Diego would cause massive international turmoil and political reactions all over the world. Kind of strange to me that they would just bring them back to the island, make it a no-fly zone and open a new park with even more dinosaurs some years later.
But then again, if that happened in real life.. I'd still try to be among the first ones to visit a Jurassic Park and then refuse to leave.
No no, it was no my intention to blame people for eating meat or other animal products. I'm "only" vegetarian myself, it's just that people should be more aware of what products they buy and don't indirectly support terrible treatment of animals.
Aaaand agree with the rest. The Pteranodons in JP3 were fine. The people intruded their territory and the creatures just wanted to feed their babies.

While I agree that the San Diego scene was a bit over the top, it was hardly treated like just any ordinary day in California. There was absolute madness in the streets (understandable), at least two people were killed (that does not even count any who might have succumbed to their injuries after e.g. the bus crash) and the T. rex with its infant was transported back to Sorna under heavy military guard. Isla Sorna was locked down and became a no-fly zone (which, of course, only led to boat tours etc. as seen in JP///), and the public became interested in InGen for the first time because it was revealed that Malcolm had not been lying after all and that dinosaurs had really been bro… [view original content]
