YEESSSS
THANK GOD
I cannot wait for new plot developments.
That last line by Luke actually gave me some chills. Nice teaser, really hyped for this movie.
Soo fucking hyped. But I hope THIS one won't be like Empire Strikes Back, I want to see a new plot, that's why I love Rogue One more than The Force Awakens which was more like A New Hope reboot.
That looks amazing!!
HYPED!
Coolcoolcoolcool! Excited for this!!
I just hope this time they don't do another Death Star plot again.
THIS SHIT IS GON BE FUCKING LIT!
I got the chills... I didn't know how I would react, so it turned out I just clapped and screamed and laughed... Damn. Last line gave me some bloody goddamn chills.
Can't wait.
Oh, it's not the last Jedi. No way.
Looking forward to this, hopefully it does enough to finally shut up the "Episode 7 was just a carbon copy of New Hope" crowd.
This will most likely be pandering garbage like The Force Awakens was.
It'll be hilarious seeing Rey shit on the force even more than she did in the last film, at this rate she'll beat Snoke in episode 9 with no help.
Eh...nothing comes close to pandering garbage like Attack of the Clones.
I disagree. Luring a bunch of original trilogy nostalgia fags into the cinema by ripping off A New Hope and acting like they came up with it is on a whole other level.
Only thing they can do that I'll enjoy is an Ashoka film since I'm a big fan of her, assuming they don't turn it into a "stronk wymin" movie.
Nooooo!! Luke! The Jedi can't end!!
Really nice trailer. I'm a bit teary on what Luke said at the end. But in hindsight he might have a point, considering how much the galaxy has suffered by the neverending battle between Light and Dark.
Attack of the Clones isn't Thaaaaat bad. Phantom Menance was a mess everywhere. Attack of the Clones had a pretty epic fight in the end, I really enjoyed that shit.
I do have my gripes with the prequels, but I do appreciate that they tried something new. The prequels also introduced most of my favorite characters in the movies. Though I will admit that Kotor overshadows most of the movie characters for me.
I appreciate that as well. I'm usually trying to in some way protect the prequels. I can't defend Jar jar, but some thing I appreciate. They had alright endings, all 3. One thing no one can shit on is Christopher motherfucking Lee (R.i.P) He is to iconic to shit on. Ewan McGregor was fantastic as well. Yoda I loved. Sam Jackson was... Sam Jackson
So you're calling everyone a fag now? No wonder people hate the Star Wars fan base so much.
No, I was not. Do you even know what internet slang is?
I do and it's usually disgusting and has no value whatsoever in discussion.
But hey, if it works for the troglodyte 12 year olds then go ahead kiddo.
double post
So I triggered you with a little bit of slang and now you feel the need to insult me by calling me a 12 year old troglodyte even though I never intended to insult you or anyone else myself? Okay. Have it your way, bud.
Failed to train Luke I have.
Well after having watched that trailer a few times...I have some observations.
First off...the cinematography looks pretty amazing.
Those First Order AT-ATs must be massive just given the distances that you see them verses the dunes they are cresting. At first I was a little put off by the fighters going after them being too much like Hoth...but then it hits me. Any use of AT-ATs you need that type of fire power to counter it. In Rogue One the use of the AT-ATs was pretty stupid and just thrown in for fan service....if you are defending a base...you would not use those things....But if you are going to assault a base...then yes you need them
Oh Poe Dameron, you make this girl think about going straight. Ok maybe not...still one of my favorites.
Kylo Ren still has his saber.
Bringing balance to the force...I was thinking about the Gray that walks the line between the light and dark side's of the force. The truth is that there is just the force...what the Jedi represent is holding back the potential because of the inherent dangerous nature of the force.
Take KOTOR. The Jedi decided not to help the Republic when the Mandalorians attacked. Even though systems were suffering, the Masters felt that it would lead many Jedi down a dark path. And indeed some did like Revan. But what if the Masters had been there with the Knights that went...and kept them mindful of their actions. The Jedi that went to fight did not do it out of a mad grab for power...but to stop the deaths and enslavement of billions.
Just as those who walk the Dark Side are dangerous...the Light Side tends to be more conservative and stagnant. Not helping when they probably should out of fear of what would happen...caused more harm than if they had not acted.
Perhaps Luke Skywalker is right...and it is time to try something different.
If he wasn't hired to play the Joker, he would still be a alive.
Judging by the comments on the Youtube video, not so far.
Nobody really knows until they see the movie.
"I only know one truth. It's time for the Jedi, to end." Luke Skywalker.
Gotta say, sounds similar to what Former Imperial Admiral Natasi Daala told Skywalker in the Legend's universe. She believed the Jedi were a threat to Peace in the Galaxy and if Luke was to raise a new generation of Jedi it was only a matter of time before some of his students would become corrupt and start the entire process of Jedi vs Sith all over again.
Seems the last film kind of proved Admiral Daala's fears so perfectly. Seems Luke is taking over the "Role" of Daala though when it comes to being the one who has come to that decision though.
The way I see it, preserving the existence of the Jedi means that another Sith/Darksider will eventually rise to resume the continual conflict between Light and Dark.
In order to bring balance and peace, force users must learn to embrace light and dark.

Yeah, I noticed them too. Pretty damn big. It looked definitely invocative of Hoth. Also, the walkers in Rogue One were not AT-ATs, they were actually AT-ACTs (All Terrain Armored Cargo Transports), which are not intended for combat (although they certainly have some self-defense measures), rather transporting cargo on Imperial facilities like Scarif, and if necessary, defense.
Sad news: Lucasfilms confirmed that Leia won't make an appearance in Episode 9 for obvious reason.
Ok ...but still they suck for defense...but yeah cargo...huh..that is cool.
Oh boy. I can't wait to see what the fanboys nitpick about now!
Star Wars fans are the biggest Star Wars haters on the planet.
Kylo Ren looks so damn cool! I'm hoping that he really shines in this one.
You guys seen the poster of Luke and Kylo Ren? It's awesome, definitely check it out! I actually noticed that Luke looks pretty sinister...
I got really shocked at the end when we hear Mark Hamil/Luke say... Its time for the Jedi to end...
this trailer makes me hyped as well
as for that line by luke makes curious maybe it mean luke will turn to darkside. the ending to the return of the jedi was originally going to be that luke becomes evil maybe thats what they going to reevist
a never ending circle. dramatic.
Sorry to dip off topic for a sec but..... I am totally diggin your handle, kennyshouladiedins1. I Just knew I couldn't be the only one who felt that way.
