Your favourite Third Person and First Person games?
I don't think we should count the ones where you can change the view, like Fallout 4 and Star Wars Battlefront. Here is my top:
Third Person
- Uncharted 2
- The Last of Us
- Resident Evil 4
- Grand Theft Auto 4
- Assassin's Creed 2
First Person
- Resident Evil 7
- Alien Isolation
- Dying Light
- Wolfenstein The New Order
- Doom 2016

AC:S was the only game during that period of time that was a open world game... With a unique concept other than the GTA style concept.
So yeah, i only ever watched it on YT because i cannot run it. but that is enough fir me to judge.
You don't play a lot of games?
Third Person.

Here are my favorites:

Hmm, don't play a lot of FPS games.
If I think of any more, I'll update my list.
Can't be counted as Third Person because it features fixed camera.
Not third person but ok.
First Person: Rainbow Six: Siege (its also my favorite game as well)
Third Person: Dead Rising series
These are the only games I play besides the occasional Telltale game. I used to be really into gaming but have a hard time getting into video games now.
Third person
The last of us.
First person
Outlast.
Ohh, okay. I'll remove it. Same with Tales and Oddworld then, right?
No I don't, this is because of my potato PC.
I don't know about Oddworld and Tales.
Why not?
Because the definition of Third Persion is "Over the shoulder" view. The Walking Dead and Life is Strange are using fixed cameras and most of the gameplay are just interactive cutscenes. And Beyond Two Souls is pretty much an interactive movie.
But.. you still have the "over the shoulder" view. Not as much in TWD as in the other ones I mentioned tho.
Yes, when you control Max in LIS, it's over the shoulder but it's still full of interactive cutscenes.
And in Beyond Two Souls, when you get to walk around, the camera is not locking over the shoulder when you go other way around.
Third Person :
The Last Of Us
GTA series
First Person :
Counter Strike series
COD series
Portal 1-2
ANDDD
Half Life series obviously
Haven't you played Tales?
Just asking out of curiosity... Which do you like better, Want You Gone or Still Alive?
First person, Bioshock Infinite, my favourite game of all time. The second one, Borderlands 2.
Third person... Maybe the first The Walking Dead or the first Assasins' Creed. Life is Strange was nice.
When I bought the Collection, I was most excited for that one. Haven't played it yet though. Gonna finish Bioshock 2 first.
Something about the more fantasy feeling to Infinite always appealed to me more. Although I ended up loving Bioshock 1.
You mean Tales from the Borderlands?
Off, The Walking Dead is not Third Person. Sorry but I don't see how that game is focusing on the PC's shoulder.
Well you didn't say anything about the gameplay in the op, and unlike TT's games the camera isn't fixed in LiS.
First Person:
Third Person:
Bioshock Infinite is the best, you can understand it perfectly without playing the other two and there are no spoilers ar all, yet it's still a Bioshock game conected in exelect ways with the first two, feel free to play it anytime.
Assasins' Creed 1 then
I guess Want You Gone is more dulcet. Yours ?
Third person: Witcher 3
First person: Dunno? I guess maybe Metro: Last Light? Or maybe Shadow Warrior 2013
Yeah, sorry... I should've said the full name...
I like Want You Gone better as well. Portal 2 was the first Portal game I played, so maybe that's why.
But I liked both of them so much. Both are pretty awesome
