I'm gonna guess "long time" means around the 2012-2015 range. So, maybe we could see a continuation to something like Wolf or Game of Thrones. Job straight up said that Tales Season 2 is not happening for now, so I'd wager it's one of those other two. That, or maybe this ties into the "Clementine's Story Will Continue" teaser in ANF. I think anything after Thrones/Tales would be too soon in my opinion to count as people "waiting for a LONG time" like Job emphasized.

2. episodes of 2 hours long or more
3. More exploration of the environment
4. More characters

This is more of a personal opinion but only games i feel need another sequel due to the way they ended are The Walking Dead (due to the "Cle… morementine's story will continue" message) and Game of Thrones (due to the way it ended along with a conformation for season 2).
I felt most of their other games ended in a ambiguous way so i wouldn't really care if they don't get another season and focus more on a new IP. The only game i would love to see a sequel to is Tales from the Borderlands mainly because i really love the characters and the story.

I am also in the extreme minority of people where i didn't like TWAU that much so i don't really mind if they never make a second season. Story Mode likely got a sequel due to popularity or sales (and don't judge the "low" sales by Steam spy as they don't show console sales figures which will likely be a lot higher than PC due to more younger players having a console over a gaming PC).

One of the reasons ANF got so much backlash was because Clem was degraded to some minor side character (other reasons were story being bad, undeveloped characters, episodes being short, etc) - so no, they won't stop Clementine's story because of the backlash ANF got - at least I don't think so. People wanted Clem so it should be the continuation of Clem's story if another TWD happens.

Yet you seem to forget a lot of people asked for Minecraft: Story Mode Season 2. Of course I understand that MCSM was more recent, and personally I'd love a second TFTBL game or GOT, but I did like Minecraft and I'm willing to buy the second season even if it isn't the thing I wanted most.
