there are more projects we haven’t announced yet and there is original IP in our future. It is the best time in Telltale’s very long history.
The Super Show lives!!! [squeeeal of joy~]
Edit: it may just be a typo, but Job says "There is Original IP in our future". Original IP is Original IP both in singular and plural forms. The omission of an "an" between is and Original could mean that he isn't talking about only one IP. But the usage of is rather than are mean that it may just be a grammatical error.
Yeah, that "Core fans" bit confuses me.
It either refers to Pre-Walking Dead fans, so there could be a possibility of a small Sam and Max… more revival..
Or it's about the post-Walking Dead fans, so.. Wolf Among Us.
Because yeah I don't really consider GoT to be a franchise that the "Core fans" would really want. GoT is in the middle of all the hype for other series.
But if it does end up being just that, I won't complain.
I think "core" fans would count as fans of games around the time of TWD, Wolf, Tales, and GOT. Maybe that could also include Batman, but the emphasis on fans "waiting for a LONG" time makes me want to exclude Batman from the possibility of what this announcement is.
I think it's anything but Walking Dead. It's way too soon for a special announcement on that. For things that have been asked for a LONG tim… moree: That's just Thrones, Tales, Batman or Wolf.
(Considering how much they've acknowledged the demand for wolf and the constant teases recently this year.... ("What? These lips are sealed...") it might be wolf. Or not. We'll see.)
I read ALL of the fables comics and it's my favourite fucking book ever so if they go along with making TWAU 2 they better not fuck it up like they did with TWD s3 I'm sounding like a real geek right now but the main reason why s3 sucked so bad was because TT felt like they HAD to make it. pl0x dont fuck with bigby
As much as I'd like to jump on the hype train, didn't Job basically indirectly confirm during an AMA that sequels to both Tales From The Borderlands and The Wolf Among Us were not happening anytime soon?

Those are my two guesses as well; Job said Tales is not getting a sequel in various AMAs, and continuing other franchises like TWD or Batman would be too soon for Job to have emphasized how fans have "waited for a LONG time" in my opinion.
Got does have alot of hype a second season would do really well atm because of the show, I mean if they had any brains they'd of made wolf and thrones as they both will sell amazingly but it looks like we're only getting one.
So here is my opinion It'll be good if they make season 2 of game of thrones ,Wolf S2, The walking dead Season 4 (I really want that),Batman S2(if they can make) and that's it i don't care about other games i little care about guardians of galaxy but not for now so Please Telltale at least make these things :CONTINUE THE GOOD GAMES WITH GOOD STORIES
and obviosly i love The walking dead please continue with the game at least over 10 seasons that'll be great (focus on Clem living) and That's my opinion God bless you if you make more seasons for The walking dead
If the Original IP comes out one day, I could see them using the subtitle 'A Telltale Original Series' or something like that.. Given how they've compared themselves to a TV network these days... Although their use of 'A Telltale series' to differentiate themselves between the original product and their own creation based on that franchise.... I don't know.

Got a feeling it'll be TWAU or GoT. It may even be something new.
Well, well, well... in this article from October of last year, Job mentions that they still have the "Original IP" in development.

Sam and Max most definitely do not scream "mature". Anyway, the only pre-TWD game that is rated M is Hector from what I know.
I wouldn't consider people after TWAU to be 'core fans' as they likely came due to Thrones and TFTB, which debut barely 3 years ago.
I hope it is TWAU or Tales from the borderlands. I would be happy for TWD S4 too, but i think its too early.

Dear God;
let it be The Wolf Among Us 2.
AMEN
Preach
I would love a second season of tales from the borderlands
Game of Thrones Season 2, Jurassic Park and Batman Season 2 are the main three I want to see.

Let it be Minecraft story mode season 3 : )
Agreed
Alright it’s July I’m expecting something in about 2 weeks.
If we get anything i wouldn't expect to see any news until around SDCC which starts on the 20th and finishes on the 23rd.
It's either Wolf or Thrones.

It has to be TWAU. GoT doesn't have enough hype and Borderlands is too recent to be considered something we've wanted "for a LONG time".
Got does have alot of hype a second season would do really well atm because of the show, I mean if they had any brains they'd of made wolf and thrones as they both will sell amazingly but it looks like we're only getting one.
Minecraft season 3
Can’t wait for minecraft season 15.
Season 2 was so big that they had to split it in two.
My deepest hope of what they're doing here is the development of TWAU, as they put that
3 and a half years we've been waiting for TWAU, let's get it into a reality
Most likely will be: (most) Game of Thrones, Wolf among us or Tales from the Borderlands (least)
I'd much prefer having Tales or TWAU first and foremost!
I hope it's GoT S2 but It should be TWAU S2 I'm not much a fan of it but you guys really deserve it after what with NF.
I'm getting old here telltale :'0
It's four years already? Damn, I've lost track of time...
It has to be TWAU, please !

Just a random thought.
