Women Only: What do you do if a guy likes you?

What do you do if a guy likes you,

Constant in Situations 1-2: He texts you often and he implies in his messages that he likes you. He often gives you food during your snack time and does effort in showing that he wants to care for you.

Situation 1
1) If you are not sure whether you like the guy or not, do you reply to his messages?
2) from#1 If yes, how often (example, for every 10 messages, you reply once)?
3) From#1 If no, why?

Situation 2
1) If you do not like the guy do you reply to his messages?
2) from#1 If yes, how often (example, for every 10 messages, you reply once)?
3) From#1 Do you just snob him and not reply? Why?
4) Will you be honest and tell him that you don't like him? or will you just let him text you and not reply until he wears out
5) Will you straight up dump him and say there's no possibility at all or will you give him a chance?
6) Any other things (aside from #4 or 5) you might wanna say to him?

Dude, we cant give you correct answers from here. You have to try on your own. Its not a math or pyhsic question that we can show you the formula and it will be solved. Womans are not easily predictable so it is on you to make sure whether she likes you or not. Good luck.

  • It depends on many stuff. If the guy is annoying, creepy or absolutely unttractive, I'd just reply him once and politely tell him off. If he's generally nice and cute but I'm simply not sure that I like him romantically, it won't hurt to give him a chance.

  • Talk about specific

  • Snubbing someone because you dont know how to react is out of order dont do that to people that are trying to be nice.

  • This is a girl

  • You should be happy that someone cares for you. I have no friends and no girlfriend either.

  • Well I'm aromantic asexual, so every situation with a guy trying to hit on me/ask me out/getting clingy hoping for a yes later, ends up like that scene from Airplane, just on less violent terms a.k.a 'shutting that shit down' :

Not interested, don't care, bye bye.

  • Disclaimer: I'm not a girl.

from#1 If yes, how often (example, for every 10 messages, you reply once)?

Replying to one in ten messages seems excessively rude, to be honest. If someone collects the courage to message the person they love or they're attracted to, the least this person can acceptably do is send them a brief message back.

Will you be honest and tell him that you don't like him? or will you just let him text you and not reply until he wears out

You'd ideally soften the blow by telling him you're not interested.

Will you straight up dump him and say there's no possibility at all or will you give him a chance?

You'd ideally explain that you're not interested and why. If you felt like giving the relationship a try, awesome, but nobody is forcing you to; if instead you're telling him that there's no possibility, try not to be too harsh.

  • Oh o.o Asexual means although it's possible to be in relationship, you're not interested in people sexually and have no desire participating in sex [some can even be sex repulsed], and Aromantic is where you're not interested in people romantically; so you can love people, but it's a platonic love. I'm of the Asexual Aromantic category, which is a combination of the two.

Only 1% of the population is asexual and it's only really come to light in the last 10 or 15 years. There's been a lot of cases of people finding out in later years after being married [and dealing with issues in said marriages], having thoughts that they're broken, and struggling to figure out their sexual identity. There's even issues of dealing with it in society where others might think the person is secretly gay [my mother did] think they're weird for not having a boyfriend/girlfriend, or when if in a relationship being pressured into sex, or overall, dealing with others saying a number of things trying to debunk how they feel.

I guess The best way to describe it [at least in my case] is being an adult with the essence of a child, just without the naivety of one. A couple of friends with you might've been eyeing the handsome guy you asked for directions from, and later comment on how sexy his eyes looked afterwards, while at the time when you with speaking with that guy, all you were thinking was 'I really need a burger. Maybe I should ask for the nearest McDonald's,'' it's like the signals can go right over your head.

It's probably why it took so long for me to realize Luke was good looking. But even now when I look at that character, there's nothing 'hot damn if only he were real for 5 minutes!' in me.

I rambled on a bit there I'm sorry. I don't get to speak about this much XD

    "women only" oh boy.

Man, first of all, do you think this content should be in a Gaming page?

Secondly, the moment you overthink stuff is the moment you mess up. Experience with social interaction is all you need, because the questions you are asking aren't the ones you should be asking. I really don't mean to offend by the way.

  • It's General Chat. What sort of questions should I be asking then?

  • As said man, I say it's okay.

  • I always try to be super nice but I've never liked a boy... I'm not even sure I like boys.

I always turn them down in the most polite way possibleand answer their messages in the most not-romantic way possible.

Today a guy asked me and other girl out to play Call Of Duty but the other girl is busy so it's going to be only me and the duide... sigh. I don't like him, but I REALLY think he liked me and I'm scared he may make a move on me... I can defend myself if he tries to do other things, but i trust he won't. I'm afraid I may have to break his heart and loose a friend.

Should I hint that I have a crush on a girl so he will asume I'm lesbian (even though it's probably such a phase) and take the risk of him telling someone else and 1: getting bullied and/or 2: loosing all my hances with any potentially cute guy?

    agh fuck

  • Seeing the point of view of a dude is good, don't worry! We don't wanna hurt the dudes.

  • the cute dude in the lake

i don't like him... i mean i do! I really do, because he's so nice and perfect and all... and that's why i hate him. Too goddamn perfect prince. Same as Jon Snow in Telltale's GoT by now (i haven't finished the game and I don't watch the tv show, neither i read the books).

  • Personally, I would be less freaked out, because I wouldn't be suspicious of them. I would just politely tell them I am not into girls and hopefully we would both move on with our lives neatly. Things are still rough here for the LGBT+ folks, a woman wouldn't take a risk of coming out like that just to mess with me. A guy telling me they like me, however... I would actually worry that he is doing that for the lols (I've always been the "weird kid", even as an adult, so that actually is a thing that happens and I gotta be careful).

  • I see, my mistake.

  • Very interesting to get a girls perspective on this:)

  • maybe it will end up good for you and the guy. give it a chance but also be careful, get to know his personality around your friends first and know how his friends tell about him, don't try to be alone with him until you know him fully well.

Meh, I will just wait until this stupid crush passes and i don't like her anymore.

  • Update: I went. It was the most boring thing ever. I felt uncomfortable and out of place, like I went for pity and it made me feel guilty to feel like that. We were supposely going to play Call Of Duty on PlayStation, but I was so used to Bioshock, with all the creeping around things, making noise, story, philosophy, magic powah and specially BEING ABLE TO HEAL MYSELF i didn't last two minutes, so he played all the time. He asked me who was my crush (i never get crushes. like, ever, so when i found this super cute girl and crushed on her it was big news, but no one knew my crush was another girl, so i refused to tell anyone [some girls found out anyways. they've been very nice but i think i lost all my chances with her] and the boys don't know anything, so they want to find out), and i got very nervous. I don't trust him with that information. It was very uncomfortable.

I think the most interesting part was his sister, one of my mother's students (she's a history teacher), talking with me about politics and history (i'm such a nerd).

I also got a glimpse of her naked (she's 17 don't freak out she's even older than me i'm not a pedophile) and i got all red and i bursted into laughter to hide my embarassment the poor boy didn't understand anything and thank got the sister didn't either.

sorry to tell you my personal problems all of a sudden, i needed to rant.

Seeing these comments brings me back to when a girl I was crushing on told me she was into one of my friends. So much drama after that. XD

  • Is this the newest Telltale game? The choices seem very interesting.
