I'm sure that most of you know about Gamespot's All Time Greatest Game Hero contest and know that Guybrush lost to a man(?) who rides a horse and can "kill 16 collosi".
Well. SotC is by far the greatest game on the PS3. And at least he becomes a colossus after defeating them all.
Jade is losing to Samus? Expected. But it makes me sad.

These challenges are rather nonsensical. The Wanderer was a silent and nameless adventurer who put one thing - to save his friend - before aught else. Guybrush is an incredibly wordy and humorous character who was built for that sole purpose. I fondly support both characters for different reasons, yet saying "All [insert character name] such and such did was [insert the briefest of synopsis's here]". One may as well say Samus has no right to win because all she does is shoot. The argument holds no ground.
But in all honestly: I think such "battles" are rather idiotic. How many gamers who frequent Gamespot actually know who Guybrush and Jade are?
P.S The Wanderer did not become a colossus:
he unleashed the Spirit of Dormin who assisted the Wanderer in his plight in order to have a vessel for his spirit. The Colossus themselves were used to house and guard his spirit lest it should ever be freed and the world fall to ruin once more; thus, they were not a living embodiment of Dormin himself per se.
I just bought this game for ten bucks today. Never seen a gameplay video in my life, but I've heard it's really good. Gonna play it (as ron gilbert would say) Soonerish.

Yes, but we still want to add a bit of respectability to the score.
I mean a chick staring in a sci-fi shooter? That was basically unheard of in '80s. She was the Ellen Ripley of video games.
I would question how effective that paving was.
